It's not weird at all. Kiev, for example, is not under Russian control, but Ukrainian forces found "saboteurs" and "russhian spies" almost daily. What happened to them later is anyone's guess.

People forget that Russia brought in like thousands of sabetours for this conflict and many of these guys are getting caught because Ukrainian counter intelligence is catching up with these guys quickly.m,

I mean let's be honest here it's normal for people to believe Russia stronk memes especially when they see the new flashy stuff in Moscow parades. Instead however they forget Russias military is very similar to Mexican police. Sure they're militarized but not everyone is given that full equipment all the time. It's rather sad when your countries military is routinely having to pay protection money to Russian criminal organizations.

That's absolutely true about decomposition but I have seen dried blood around the mouth when someone gets their lungs fucked with, like with bullets/knife punctures and they fill up with blood but the poor slob keeps trying to breathe and literally drowns in their own blood.

And no it wasn't during a forever war but drug war shit in NYC. Paramedics will suction blood out and insert a thoracic tube to inflate the lungs/relieve pressure/suck out blood but sometimes it just is not enough and simply too late.

So, all sperging aside; it looks like WWIII isn't going to eventuate, so is it now just a grind until Russia wins a "brokered peace" and Eastern Europe kicks the can down the road for a few years? I can't see them rolling over the Uke forces, but I can't see them being beaten back either. Have we hit the meatgrinder stage of the war?

I think it's just as likely as ever, though I don't see WWIII as being very similar to WWI-II, more of a hyper proxy war with many participants in changing hot spots (this is based on my mastery of the "Dawn of War" game series and scholarly study of "Sealab 2020", fuck pod six).

I think the USA is in steep decline militarily (especially the seventh fleet), and will be tested constantly by Russia and China until it fractures (or they do).

What this conspiracy theory has to do if anything with this headline, I do not know.

It's funny you mention this. There is some claimed genetic evidence that Ashkenazi Jews aren't actually descendants of the biblical Hebrews but are mostly descendants of a Indo-European group called the Khazars who converted to Judaism later. (this is VERY hotly contested for several reasons, one of the biggest reasons being the desire to maintain the legitimacy of Jewish claims to the land of Israel)

I won't go into detail arguing for/against either side of the ancestry claims, as it is not relevant to this thread. The reason I mention it is because ancient Khazaria was roughly in the same area where modern Ukraine is now. So if you believe the Jews are mostly of Khazarian descent, then it adds a very interesting dimension to them trying to set up a backup ethnostate in the area where Khazaria used to be.

Hot off the press, Zelenskieie announces that a post-war Ukraine will be modeled after Israel. I can only assume this means the remaining ethnic minorities will be persecuted and murdered at will, and that they will never ever shut up about the hoholcaust.

You have soldiers in Israel because those 18-21 year olds are too lazy to change out of their uniforms, it's not really a police state. Though ethnic prosecution will be funny since it will validate why the Russians invaded.

Basically this, Russia is going for Donbass plus a land bridge to Crimea. Landlocking Ukraine seems to be popular in Pro-Russian circles I've been lurking, but don't think that's a realistic possibility. Ukraine will likely view a treaty with it getting landlocked as the same as it suffering regime change, unacceptable, and not just in politics speak, since it will guarantee it becomes much, much poorer than it already was.

Ironically the Winter War suffered the same issue, Russia decided to try and show off and tried to do an all out Blitzkrieg all over Finland (completely ignoring the fact that Poland's terrain allowed for such a move and Finland's didn't) and after they focused their efforts they managed to get the land they wanted (wanted publicly they were going for the whole pie like they were doing for Ukraine)

You neglected to mention that the 2nd Chechen War was (officially) started when several apartment buildings were bombed (allegedly) in retaliation for the Russian triumph over Basayev and his Jihadis after they Invaded Dagestan in attempt to spark a wider Islamic uprising against Russia. As a result Akhmad Kadyrov (Father of Ramzan Kadyrov) realized that retarded Wahabbists and Foreigners were going to keep poking the fucking bear until his people were no more and switched sides. Chechnya during independence was also a shithole ruled by Warlords, Chechnya now is a much better place to live ran by a single Warlord.

I mean I kinda was under the impression Ukraine would fold in a couple weeks mostly from demoralization but they fought and its clear the Russians were not expecting that. Good for them I hope they can pull through with western aid and guidance I love a good underdog story.
