Damage to property is an odd one. I don't know Texas legislature obviously but it likely would be an offense under Vandalism. The UK uses a catch all of "Criminal Damage" which includes any "damage" even temporary. Pretty much if it requires you to clean it, it's damage. In Texas it would fall under Vandalism. Looks like it would be "Criminal Mischief" and be quite a minor misdemeanor.

So, I would imagine the cops wouldn't be chasing him across state lines.

I doubt Ralph is going to actually do anything about any legal threat.

Don’t over think it. It’s all just empty threats by Ralph. He couldn’t afford a defamation suit and if he could the only lawyer who would file it would just be a Kevin Landau type just to take his money and laugh.
