By the end of the war, the Soviets were running on American trucks, eating American rations and using American aviation gas to fly. It was that substantial. (Sure, the Russians still manufactured their own tanks and aircraft, and supplied their own small arms and men, but those wouldn't be half as effective without support.)

Without Lend Lease, the USSR might still have won, but it'd be absolutely more dicey, and very likely they might not even be able to push the Germans past their own pre-war borders since they'd lack the logistical capabilities to support it.

Japan couldn't wait. The Land Lease meant the Axis lost the war and it was only a matter of time. The USA had so many excess resources the essentially funded the Russian army with everything, and I mean absolutely everything, they needed. And that was before the US entered the war and needed to build their own war machine. The difference between the manufacturing capacity of the US, at the time, dwarfed the rest of the world. There really wasn't much the Axis could do once the US decided they were supporting the Allies.

That said Pearl Harbor was retarded. The Japs knew it was at the time, but were desperate.

Same with Operation Barbossa, it was less retarded but seeing as Stalin was about to invade Germany Hitler had to pull the trigger. It was desperate, but that's what happens when you're somebody's bitch and you get played. Stalin's War is a pretty good book btw.

It didn't help that the pro war group had been conspicuously assassinating the officers against it. Pre war Japanese military politics were absolutely fucked.

If the Nazis managed to win the race to the atomic bomb or something with equivalent firepower to the MOAB, would it had been enough to stop the Allies with the caveat, they did not know nuclear radiation fallout like poison gas works both ways.

The longer the US keeps supplying weapons, the less likely peace will be reached. It only prolongs the war and makes it more likely the US will get fully involved.

Ya now that I think about it, the admission to viewing it would be a crime, so I'll be content in knowing that he probably raped a relative for about $6. I'd go even farther and say without the Lend Lease I'm pretty sure Germany wins. The amount of men, tanks, and equipment the Russians lost at the beginning of Operation Barbossa(since Russia had so many offensive weaponry on their border with Germany) was catastrophic. I'm not sure Russia recovers if not for America essentially paying for and supplying their war effort.

Russian Winter definitely had a say. Germanys lack of resources + logistics definitely was a problem, but America won WW2 for better or worse and the win was guaranteed whether they fought in it or not.

An interview with a former US marine Intel officer. I think he's accurate, particularly more so then the msm and the neocons have been in talking about this. But then again, I agree with his assessment so that might explain why I think he's correct.

I agree with most of his takes on the affair but he does come off to me as biased towards Russia. He was on The Duran podcast and I listened to it, he seems to think everything is going exactly as planned with a few hiccups and I don't agree it's gone that well. I don't think Russia can even conduct such smooth operations, it's complicated stuff.

On reddit earlier I was reading a lot of back and forth. "Russians raped baby and posted a video of it."

Yet everyone was saying it was true, but they hadn't seen the video. It is a crime to watch the video. You shouldn't even search to try and verify if it is true. As you'll commit a crime if you see proof.

No idea if it's true. I find it unlikely that the one Russian who managed to sneak in a camera and post a video was this. Yet what a perfect propaganda story. Something horrible, which no one can verify without committing a crime.

I would ask if anyone knows about this. But how could anyone trust anyone saying yes? How could you trust anyone saying no?

EDIT: others have posted replies about this being a Russian soldier not in the war and it being real.

I know you got your answer, but as far as I know every single "RUSSIANS ARE RAPING BABIES" claim ties back to that video which has no indication of taking place in Ukraine.

I think the claim of Russians raping babies in particular can be sourced to that video but people are so eager to vilify Russian soldiers that if they hear such a terrible thing happened then they assume it's true and tell others. The cycle repeats.

You have people on here who insist that anyone who isn't adamantly against Russia is basically a Russian shill who supports child rape, they've really latched onto it.

Basically instead of a nice and solid winter the progress stalled because the Ukrainian cold and mud decided to occur. Don't forget the intial strikes despite being successful due to Surprise, ended up backfiring. Because sure perhaps in Luhanks, Donetesk, they we're getting greeted as liberator's.
But most of their people like infiltrators and sabetours got outed very quickly by Ukranian civilians, US Intel, and local counter intelligence.

Yeah Russia stronk but if all the local Intel essentially is Going one direction in the favor of your enemy even large armies can be defeated in detail.

I am forever skeptical on the "saboteur" claims. From day 1 onwards they sure did find a lot of them very quickly.
I would wager that in most cases it was mob justice gone wrong and due to the happenings no one was going to call bullshit on any of the claims.
