I don't know, the only reason I think he bought into that Jesus stuff because he lost the internet and mass media that caused him to glom onto those things. No more tranny stuff, no more ponies, and I don't think Chris even mentioned Sonic once in his letters. It's like his entire self image has to be based on mass media he consumes, and if he loses access to whatever media, he really does lose a part of himself. It makes sense when you consider MLP changing over to the teenage girl version, and why Chris was so angry.

I would also add all of the stuff people like the Idea Guys spoonfed to him, to the point where they were controlling what plot points were being put into his comics.

Chris isn't really alone in this way of operating though, at least in the US. He just is an extreme example of people who project their identities into stuff like Disney, weeb shit, or [insert brand here]. We operate in such a "statement-necessary" culture, that people will buy a product based purely on the fact that the product is the product, take for instance clothing such as that made by Supreme, which often just has the word "supreme" on it. Some people claim it as a biological or psychological urge, others blame the lack spiritual identity and the decline of religious importance in mainstream culture, some experts even make the audacious claim that many in the population are, in fact, retarded.

It makes it difficult to really discern, I think, to really figure out what is going on in Chris' head. Because how much of it is what Chris actually feels, and how much of it is what he thinks he is supposed to feel?

not really, its only been what, a month? plus its better for him and everyone else that he's locked away from the internet for a while. Who knows he might lose some of his delusions. If there's a hot female doctor telling him that reality is different than he thinks he might listen.

In the UK they're council housing basically. Usually a bunch of connected flats called "folds" with one main entrance door that is staffed and locked.

They can be pretty low grade but some of them are nice enough and because of the UK's weird system of giving stuff away to free to idiots, a lot of them are in really central positions in cities where the normal rent for a person would be huge but for these people it's included in their housing benefits.

They vary a lot but you can seriously walk in to a place where you have two 50 year old dudes with the IQ of toddlers screaming at eachother for using the others crayons and then beating the shit out of eachother. Police come, separate them, tell them off for being naughty and then leave because there's just no point taking them to court.

So I'm not sure how the US does it but in the UK I really doubt Chris would go to court at all, he'd just be quietly shuffled over to the housing system for the rest of his life.

I've been wondering the same thing, and have been playing around with a bunch of different theories:

1. Chris, for whatever reason, doesn't have his address book of followers and can only remember 14 Branchland's address, and Barb just isn't sending letters out to his writers.
2. He tard raged more than he had ever done before at court for whatever reason and they have him drugged up to the point where he just doesn't care.
3. He has no money and uses his allotment of stamps to write to Barb. I think @Pointless Sperg said people get like 2 free stamps in jail, maybe it's the same in the hospital.
4. Chris, after riding high on his messiah complex, imagining he'd go back to his temple and have a bunch of new followers completely broke down when they hauled him to the loony bin.

Any of those could be a possibility, from Chris just being too stupid to remember addresses or his world, already shaky as it was, finally collapsed. The TooManyGames thing really showed how quickly Chris could go from flying high to complete breakdown in the matter of minutes.

If he had only been interested in doing his stupid Sonichu comics, he never would have gone down the dark path he has. He would simply be a weird outcast who makes the yellow sonic around town, but he’d probably have had better relationships and even had some similar sperg friends to talk about Vidya. Patrick Tomlinson is pretty hilarious right now. He fights with trolls on twitter all damn day. He recently lost a lulsuit. Then he tried to bring internet bs before a judge (he accused someone of defaming him by claiming he murdered black children and turned them into pepperoni. He told a judge this). He’s constantly saying stupid pompous things. He’s not the same flavor as Chris, but he’s active.

Cat shit can cause toxoplasmosis, which has been linked to wide ranging mental and behavioral differences in humans, including schizophrenia, but it's not clear that toxoplasmosis is the cause of the effects. After all, it would not be surprising that mentally ill people or less conscientious people are more likely to touch cat shit and less likely to do a good job washing their hands afterward.
