YES! My mailbox punching 20+ year old neighbor. He was in a magnet program in high school until he was charged with 2 or 3 counts of assault and sent to a 'special school' for autistic people where he was the most high functioning one there. All the other students were non-verbal and wearing diapers. He despised them and his time there. He frequently talks about his time in the public high school with love before his expulsion. Now he lives at home and takes his aggression out on the family mailbox.

Oddly specific scenario. I’m not a cold-hearted stone capitalist or whatever and I understand the need for social services and health care aid. I don’t even think it’s bad for Chris to be taken care of in a home.

There are lots of mentalists like him. I don't know how they do it in America but it's not uncommon in the UK to have a general "housing area" assigned to people with a lot of mental issues or who are so special needs they can't survive alone.

I would rather kill myself then work there though. An ex of mine used to work in one and she routinely had horror stories. Police were called a lot but never could do anything because none of the people were mentally fit for being held accountable.

I imagine Chris is just like John Bulla. Just wondering around talking to the other crazies, explaining his religion to them and happy he isn't having to really do anything for himself.

Well, yes, I have. I know that there are people who are intellectually capable of living on their own, but not emotionally so.

I was speaking about his own particular quirks, and where HE would be classified.

There are several 15-patient group homes within a mile of my house. Closed nursing homes in my area are often converted into such facilities, which have a 15-patient capacity because any larger than that and it becomes a nursing home and must have 24/7 nursing coverage.

I swear to God he is exactly like Chris Chan
Literally the only thing stopping him from being featured prominently on this site is the fact that he doesn't have really any online presence. I think if i personally know someone exactly like Chris that means there's tons more of him out there. Think about it thousands spread throughout the entire United States and the only thing stopping them from becoming Chris is the fact that they don't post YouTube videos.

had a friend who had a brief stint in a psychiatric, he saw a guy coming in, regular dude mind you, stable job, wife but one day man just... snaps and starts believing he's a millionaire polyglot who was a pilot lawyer heart surgeon professional chef famous author actor jet pilot and whatever careers are impressive. the guy completely drained their bank accounts and went into debt to afford the life he thought they deserved on his multiple imaginary salaries and had to forcibly commit him. my friend didn't know if he fully made it but he did see him admitting to not being some of the things he claimed he was. complete absolute nutter.

It's just bizarre that they all gravitate to this thinking. People think CWC is unique, and while his overall story is definitely a perfect storm of retardation. Chris, his head-canon, and beliefs are extremely common with retards. It's just weird that they all develop these obsessions and beliefs independently from each other.

I was in jail for a bit ages ago and I saw and experienced this kind of thinking. I used to think about my now ex-gf like, hiring a bunch of A-Team mercenaries and them blowing the roof off the jail and flying off into the sunset in a Blackhawk, because jail is boring as hell and there is very little to entertain you. Also just like, the fantasies guys talked about when they'd get out. Like getting out would magically change their lives, they'd get their kids back, their ex wife would forgive them, they'd kill everyone who sent them there (except themselves of course), whatever. You have nothing to do all day, your imagination runs wild.

The only difference is that Chris is like that outside of jail too.
