You can find audiobooks on any subject to tickle your fancy and I am sure that the Harry Dresden series is available (just looked and it is), I could see him finding the right story and falling down the rabbit hole.

That's one of the many reasons I get annoyed with him. You can try and do something genuinely nice for him and unless it is instantly gratifying, he will just discard it.

Audiobooks would probably be more his speed. I have no idea how he would listen to it though. He's too retarded to play a CD and too ungrateful to care if you gifted him a digital copy. Harry Dresden really would be his shit though. I think they even made a short TV series for it.

As I said up thread, I've been tempted to send him some Turning tools and some craft books I have going spare, and even though about sending him some Free PPE I got as part of a gift when I ordered some stuff.

I wont because he'd not use it or use it right and disregard it so it's not worth the effort, if it's not Booze, Tobacco or Ozzy he's not intrested in anything I'd like to send him.

Audible is really easy, you just need a amazon account and a phone / tablet or a PC with itunes (he's on a mac so he'd be fine) it's just tap tap and done and the controls are 3 buttons unless you open up the settings, he's on a iphone as well so he can't run into trouble by buying stuff at full price because on the iphone you have to use the audible web store.

I normally buy 4 credits a month and listen to them while I work as I don't have time for recreational reading at the moment and it's also nice to relax with some tea and listen to a story.

Some people keep in contact with the expanded Cobraverse crew on Facebook, sometimes they just post about this stuff on their wall or a jilted lover will. It's a useful resource when something's going on but there's no contextual information present that would shed light on things.

If that's not available, checking Oil City News is always a safe bet. They post their weekly arrest records publicly and Alex has been on there a couple of times, both in June of 2020, March of 2021 and now April of 2022 for Failure to Comply. It's a pretty normal arrest for Alex, not paying his child support payments.
