In this case, the writer is mimicking religious commentaries, more specifically of the kind you saw more of before the mid-20th century, which isn't how lefties typically talk. I'll give them credit for actually having a good handle on the terminology and flow of a subject matter most of them would run screaming from.

Pretty much this, people. Romney has pretty much been cut off at the knees by his own poor choices, Liz Cheney is going to get thrown out for carrying water so openly for Pelosi, and I can't think of any other serious RINOS with any actual tangible power? They've largely been voted out or chose to retire before that could happen. Seems to me anyone left is largely cowering in fear of their now-awake and noticing constituents.

Also at this point, have we considered examining if Biden himself is just a sentient lump of covid cells? Seems everyone around that fossil ends up getting the coof.

This number seems to hold true for any controversial issue. There's a third of the country that's gone fully nuts and 2/3rds that are sick of the bullshit. This is why they have to gaslight us constantly. If we understood that we were the actual majority, it's major trouble for their uniparty theater.

And I don't even believe it's 1/3rd of the country. I think people are just more willing to have crazy opinions in polls. In real life you might get 10% of the country willing to actually state "yes I believe in post-birth abortion". So we remove the civil rights from those people and move on.

Well, to be pedantic, viruses aren't cells. They're not even, biologically speaking, living organisms. They're just self-replicating clumps of DNA crystallized in proteins.

Yeah I think people consistently overestimate the amount of true abortion worshippers. Plus, the "ZOMG THE UNBORN ARE LICHERULLY PARASITES!!!!111!" crowd has alienated the "It should be legal but only a last resort and we should emphasize preventative measures" group.

Oh this reminds me. There's an episode of Jimmy Neutron where they go into (I think?) Carl's body because he's sick and they fight the virus, which looked like weird alien robot thingies. You can "a mage in my sock" when I learned that there really are viruses shaped like that (complex bacteriophage).
