*gasps* what, no way, I couldn’t tell
I'm astounded it took so long for her to say that. Canadians can't help but point out they are Canadians. It makes me respect Ina's ability to keep that to herself, going so far as to use Imperial on occasion and mention she has 1 dollar bills.

Fellas, why do you love your Oshi?
I don't believe in loving an Oshi. Even using that word kind of bugs me. I prefer to respect their stories and the struggles it took to get them to where they are today. I've made it no secret about my respect to Kiara (there are others but I'll use her as the example) and the work it took to get to where she is now. It's very admirable and that's where I try to draw the line. If you love them, that's your prerogative but to me it feels a little intrusive.

Risu on Youtube Music Weekend in 10 minutes
I missed at least 50% of Stellar Stellar and Alice&U due to YouTube desktop mode on phone and internet issues.

Besides that (and being interrupted a little during other songs for same issues) I absolutely adored this. Despite knowing that Risu is a magnificent singer I continue to be blown away by her. High Tide had me ascending. I favorited the premiere, it was crazy incredible. I need more Risu singing
Calli after her
Favorited, that was incredible. Her rapping is phenomenal and her singing is fantastic, absolutely love all her songs. Cried during Cursed Night and End of A Life despite not hearing most of either (YouTube desktop mode on phone and internet issues, interrupted other songs too but only a little, including the very end). Love that she sang Cursed Night,Empress, and Dead on Arrival. They don’t get a lot of attention to the point I forgot about Dead on Arrival and had a massive brain fart, thinking it was something else.

edit:
Also thinking about it, scuff didn’t ruin but did hurt. There was more scuff than even in karaokes. And really there shouldn’t be any.

Among the EN talents of PC she's the only one who has not inclined in viewership and It doesn't help that her schedule overlaps with Pippa. Even when she get 100+ views that will drop to below 50 once Pippa starts streaming. PC really needs to fix their streaming schedules/timeslots.
I would agree with you on this. There is a bunch of overlap on PC's audience (although i think Uruka probably has the most unique viewers due to having a ton of subs coming from her music covers and from a Chinese audience).

I don't know how holoEN has been so consistent in hiring people whose voices I can't stand. Maybe their hiring committee have very specific preferences. This isn't a MATI stance (I generally like some of them, I'm just autistic about streamer voices) but to be frank half of them present themselves in a way that sounds like they're partially retarded. There's charm in that sometimes, like with Nene, Mel and IRyS. But I don't get that same feeling from some of them.

I felt guilty for being so judgemental but judging by Calli and Kronii my first impressions might've not been that far off.:smug:
Pippa mentioned not liking when the model didn't go with the voice. This is something that always bothered me about Coco but it may be with screechy and high voices. Someone like Noel should probably have a more "mature" sounding voice but I really like how soft-spoken she is.

I think it's fine.

It's not for me, personally, but there might be a sect of fans who don't like knowing a streamer is putting on a voice or trying to overemphasize their excitement, and appreciate the more normie Twitch streamer-esque approach of being 'chill' and and lower energy.
I feel the whole voice thing annoying especially when its really forced and noticeable. This is why I haven't been able to get into watching Luna.

I think it's because she doesn't know english very well. She mentioned that she was only learning it.
Maybe I just need constant stimulus cuz I probably have ADD or some shit but there was too much dead air. Its possibly due to nervousness.

Fellas, why do you love your Oshi?
I don't but I look up to her. Because she is a talented streamer, has interesting stories, and up to a certain point because her humor is my type of humor. I barely watch her anymore but I still feel proud whenever I manage to catch a few minutes of her doing her thing.

I like soft spoken, dorky girls who stay away from toilet humor.
By any chance do you watch Noel?

Great music. Decent artist. Keeps her stuff clean. Genuinely believes in everything she does, in a good way. Ambitious enough that she never stops moving, playful enough to have fun while she's at it. Interacts well with others (including people outside Holo). Generally quite smart but isn't arrogant about it.

It's very easy to cheer for her because she often succeeds. In some ways I aspire to be like her (not in the tranny sense, just as a person).

Generally lots of good traits and few negative ones. Lastly of course, she is cute today too.

Amelia always has something up her sleeve and has plenty of hilarious moments, both intentional and not. She is also brave in her initiatives and knows what us fans like, love her stuff!
How can you not love nene? She's the perfect best friend/Imouto experience (or gfe if you are into that shit you freakos), she's cute, she's funny, she's pon and she's got the energy of 20 fusion reactors on overdrive, the model was made by her talented and degenerate mama. Nene is everyone's oshi even if they don't want to admit it, because everyone is a husband in the end.
Nene knows how to use her weird cuteness in the best ways, and her baby voice for english is simply adorable! I never tire of her!

Depends on what you mean when you say you love someone. I use it as a term of affection, not romantic but as in an expression of endearment. I really like Korone, Pekora and many of the girls so I can safely say I love their characters, but that doesn't mean I am romantically attracted to them or anything. That's what women in real life are for lol!

On Kiara, it's really unfortunate that she gets all the hate she does. But then, even Coco, an almost universally beloved talent, had her share of schizos hating her guts outside the bugmen, so it's something that always happens. The smart thing to do is ignoring these entitled schizo fuckers, they have no power outside of people caring about what they think!

By now there is possibly an hour long supercut to be made of Hololive Freakouts Vs Cockroaches...

Off the top of my head, there's several Korone clips - some going right back to the very early days - and at least one Moona room-exiting retreat:

We shouldn't laugh, bless 'em, yet they're so funny when they flip out like this. Even virtual cockroaches can send the Holos into hysterics:

There's also a Nene story in which she talks about a family visit to a holiday cottage riddled with bugs, to the point where the design on the curtains appeared to be moving...

I feel like Coco and Ame fill the same void for me. They're both incredible innovators and I personally imagine a Hololive landscape without them would be an entirely different beast. Both are incredibly passionate in what they do. Coco/kson more so on camera with nearly having 3 streams a day spanning YouTube, Mildom and Twitch. And Ame more in the background with planning some of the most memorable streams that EN has seen. Both also selfless to a tea and always ready to help whoever.

Watame because she's just such an empathetic person, who rather had a rough life being raised by a single mom who was constantly working (so mainly her grandma) and having a deadbeat dad that wanted nothing to do with her. She also has a clear-cut goal and it's easy to be inspired by her and support her in getting there. IE. Budokan. She's arguably also one of the most determined people in Hololive. Releasing an original song nearly every week or so for multiple months so she could do her first Sololive a few months later. I'd also be lying if the relationship she has with her fan has nothing to do with it. The fact that she obviously lives for interaction with her fans is always enjoyable.

My favorite is Korone encounter with maggots in Metal Slug.

Korone, I just can't understand how this dog in her 30's is able to keep her energy constantly high and still laughs at very old and obscure retro games.

I'd put an asterisk on that for the time being, because Enna is lining up multiple covers to premiere during her one month break and it's possible that one of them might be Melissa.

:optimistic:
I'm guessing you'd have a better grip on the JP side, is there any history of Niji livers maintaining public connnections with whoever decides to go indie (excluding the obvious one of Selen and Dtto)? Something along the lines of what Kson has with some of the Holo talent right now.

Sukoya hits pretty much every checkmark someone could want in a Vtuber, to the point there'd probably be a lot more people into her if not for the language barrier. She can be cute, wholesome, degen, edgy, smart (backed up by her carrying Niji in QuizKnock events + 2nd/4th [depending on whether you count answers after 3 minutes] best score in Choco's quiz), and so on. I really wish she did more English collabs, especially with EN's expansion; she seems fairly communicative, but I don't think she's done anything other than the Hana and IN collabs, plus that one international collab during her hiatus. Doesn't really help that she hasn't been getting a lot of translated clips post-return.

I believe some of the original Minecraft crew (Chaika, Dola) talked about Nakao Azuma despite their roommate already having reincarnated as Tomoshika in VOMS by that point. Selen still talks about remaining in contact with Bora, Chigusa had that with Matsuri despite everyone knowing it was because Chigusa was Hiiro (Matsuri's best friend). Beyond that? I don't know.

Advanced Gunpla Building. Enna is just straight up making a robot.

Calli is a genuinely inspirational, to me anyhow. Her story of moving to a foreign country, working with people she looked up too, and making it even if it was a stroke of luck and/or not in the way she expected is something I can aspire to. Not to mention she has a great personality and works her ass off for her fans. I know she's not popular on this side of the tracks but I can't help but be in awe of how far she's come since her debut.
