Hard to say honestly.
If he gets out he might be able to crash with one of his enablers, or maybe some of his local Pokémon friends. If I’m not mistaken Kengle offered him a place at his but I’m not sure how he would get there. Then there’s also the possibility of him staying jail until he can make it into a group home. Unless Barb said otherwise in the Last Will and Testament he will eventually inherit 14BLC. But I am of of the opinion she’s got some years left in her and I doubt Chris could keep up with the mortgage without some kind of extra help.
I’m not A-Logging here, I’ve been observing Chris for a very long time (almost half my life). I really do think a mental institution and then a group home with individual rooms would be the best place for him. This way he has some degree of normalcy and a home to live in without being exploited but he can freely post whatever he wants after his recovery. Hopefully he learns coping skills (yes I know

) but maybe it happens and he can avoid the worst of the Weens, Carpetbaggers, and Enablers. I really don’t have an answer for him, living without a car sucks and living without a support base double sucks. Chris will very likely end up with nowhere to go, not because of some minor mistake that had a butterfly effect, or something related to substance abuse, but because he willfully did something that society really shuns and he’s unrepentant about it.
There is the possibility his local Church has a Christian Community Social Services Center and they offer him some help. For a while I worked as a Security Guard at one of these Churches and they would let some of the homeless sleep in the chapel at night on the condition they brought no drugs, alcohol, or tobacco and stayed in there the entire night and left in the morning. Basically no sex, drugs, smoking or booze were the only rules. He’s alienated himself from his Church though and I don’t know if that’s going to be a real option for him.
But honestly I think this is a more realistic future for Chris.
