Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

I'm reading some pretty conflicting information, so correct me if im wrong...That being said, I thought i read border patrol was already pursuing this man before he was able to reach the school? Again, it could all be bullshit speculation..., but if true; this marks one of the first mass shootings, as far as I can remember, where the shooter was actively being chased towards the eventual crime scene and was still able to accomplish somewhat of his goal.

Reports are that border patrol police cornered the shooter who had barricaded himself. There was a fire fight, the cops took non-life threatening hits and ultimately killed the shooter. As far as them actively following him before entering school grounds, I think what they said is they had suspicions about him BEFORE, but not right before yhe shooting occured. Again, like you say, all kinds of speculaton right now.

Seems like he was a troon, as photos like this are the ones I see articles using to identify him as. IDK though because some were saying it was the wrong person? Did he shoot up the place because someone misgendered him? Maybe the grandma refused to accept his "lifestyle"?

EDIT: If the shooter is without a doubt, confirmed to be trans, then I wonder the media will spin this? I know some were discrediting Chris Chan's trans identity after he was arrested for allegedly raping his mother. Because no "true" trans is mentally ill or capable of being violent.

Even before those trans pics were called out for being bullshit, you could tell that the guy in the first pic doesn't look like the ones in the following pictures, especially the 2nd one. It's frustrating because almost everyone involved in talking about this has some kind of axe to grind and uses manipulation tactics to make the truth harder to find, and it makes me MATI.
