I live in a country where you can own a firearm only if you can bend backwards and literally fuck yourself. And even if you own one its pretty useless because its hard to prove the self-defence with them.
So for those reason I only shot .22 once, when I was 16-17. But at the same time I have much interest in firearms- I read a lot and watch a lot.
So technically I'm disqulified from answering the question, but I do want to add my 5 cents. I will just parrot the summery of what I've heard. In general you need a well proven firearm which had a long time to iterate on its drawbacks or quirks, unless you are going for some very niche and specific application like sport shooting or anti-troon stealth gay ops.
Glock in 9mm for the pistol (Glock43), pump-action Remmington or Mossberg for the shotgun or semi-auto Mossberg. Also Saiga-12, if you can get your hands on it, I think they havent been imported or produced in USA in a long time.
It's harder for a rifle because its really a very diverse field from small pistol calibre carbines to the anti material behemots. But given that you plan on buying in USA and you probably want a general purpous rifle- go for AR platform. But dont go cheap, everyone says chep ARs are worse than no rifle at all.

Thanks for letting me know. One of my other archive accounts still has Kay's copyright bullshit affecting it - most of the older episodes are on there if people want them (JCM Archives). Josh's Odysee has the most recent episodes. I'll figure something out and let everyone know.

Ralph lives in a mostly black neighborhood. His neighbors probably don't give a shit unless his ayylawgs start blasting.

Just send her an email telling her to take you to court if she feels that strongly about it. It will take like 9 business days but she will back down and you'll be cleared, the Metocaust archive had a similar issue from her

And speaking of other archives, https://www.youtube.com/c/Metocaust/ has all of the episodes from 2021 - 2022 and has a decent amount of the older episodes uploaded to youtube (and counting).

Do you know why your account got banned?

Will do, thanks for the advice. There was no reason given and no warning emails, only this:

Metocaust is a good channel, highly recommend - the other main MATI archiver @Xyllon has stopped uploading the last few months, but he has a Google Drive with near every episode on it (linked in About section). My other account is JCM Archives and it has nearly every episode uploaded except for the most recent streams. I will probably create another account for uploading newer episodes.

EDIT: Also Josh's Odysee has all the most recent videos (https://odysee.com/@mati:c) and mine for older streams (https://odysee.com/@kiwifarmsarchive:c)

I was watching the archive yesterday, went to grab something from it today and noticed it didn't show up in my history tab. Sucks it got nuked, and it's annoying that something so tame can't stay up in the current Internet climate. Sure, there's some offensive language but there's no encouragement of violence or anything like that. It's just retarded that you can't say offensive shit anymore because a small group of people will get so butthurt about it that they'll whine endlessly.

I have only had 9mm handguns and a 5.56 rifle in my time, but I can give exactly one piece of advice. If you want something to carry around, get something small. I went from an M&P 9 M2.0 to a shield plus and I feel amazed that people carry full sized at all. It's just that much better. If it's just for home, it doesn't matter as much.
