SU actually had plush toys but they were either limited-editions made for SDCC (the ones pictured were sold at SDCC 2017. SDCC 2018 had a larger selection consisting of Peridot, Captain Lars, Blue Diamond, Yellow Diamond, Pink Diamond, another Cookie Cat, and two different Lion plushies)...>Funko Pops

Notice how these things are primarily what adults would buy. There are no plush toys, no pillows/blankets, no towels, nothing that kids would like from their favorite cartoon. Almost like Steven Universe wasn't actually made for kids, but instead made for man/womanchildren......
...made by Funko (If you want some horror to linger on the Hot Topic-exclusive Peridot plush often sells for close to $100 on resale markets while the GameStop-exclusive Rose and Lion plushies from the same line resell for close to $50)...
...or are of questionable quality.
And I've seen SU-themed pillows, blankets, and towels for sale but they were largely sold at Hot Topic or on Cartoon Network's now-discontinued online store.

Why do we let these self-righteous freaks work in the cartoon industry? Looking at those tweets, it is certain that the person is another chronically-online manchild that populates 80% of twitter’s userbase. I’ve know children that were more mature and more composed than this adult clown.
Also, this guys tweets and retweets are filled with « I hate america ». Be grateful that you are living in a country where you aren’t getting brutally slaughtered or burned to death for having a different opinion or for being gay.

Because the simplified style is considered a selling point for the Funko's POP line of vinyl figures, they'll do normal vinyl figures (and other stylized vinyl figures that rarely get the ball rolling) on occasion but only if he licensor approves of the concept that Funko craps out.Those Funko plushes are actually kind of cute. How come Funko Pops can't be the same way?

That is true, the problem with a lot of American writers is that a lot of them are close-minded and have no imagination.
Take the multiverse for example, you could have entire fictional universes filled with infinite possibilities but each universe to me feels like a rip-off of real life. Sorry if that sounds pretentious but that’s just my opinion on it.

I like the concept of multiverses a lot, but it feels less special then there's a glut of media using the concept which is definitely happening right now.

Well, that’s what I’m saying, multiverses don’t feel special, because the people who write these universes aren’t using their imaginations too well.
For example, you like fantasy? How about creating a universe where each planet is home to a species of magical creatures like dwarves, dragons and trolls? It’s just an example, that’s all.

Earlier this year he signed an open letter protesting the war in Ukraine.
Ironically, the Russian government has posted about his death on Twitter... then again, that open letter was suppressed pretty quick when they said you could get fifteen years in jail for speaking out against the war.

Maybe this is just due to my background but the best usage of multiversus I have seen is probably tied to DC Comics. That company makes use of them for really good “what if?” tales. I especially love when we get crossovers between it and the prime universe, such as with the Justice Lords, as we can see how characters could theoretically fall hard. Justice League and Batman Brave & The Bold did really good jobs with these types of episodes if you want outside comic material.
Marvel can also be good, but they do it far less then DC, especially in outside media.
