The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

"developer" he edits the trailers
calling everyone who does anything in the process of releasing a game a developer is one of the more cancerous things that wokeists have done, this guy has never touched a line of code and likely wouldnt know the difference

He bitched out and deleted his tweets to protect the leaker.

That’s fucking weird if you ask me.

It looks like parts of TLOU1 have been leaked, including the scene with Sarah:

And here's a few photos of TLOU1, and a comparison below:

The TLOU1 Tommy scene looks like it's meme potential, but in a forced and unfunny way. And everything as a whole looks like either a sidegrade, or a downgrade.
That Sarah scene is actually fucking awful.
The lip sync seems somehow off, and the animations for Tommy walking up and Joel crawling to Sarah appear unchanged, and leave this sort of uncanny valley effect of shitty animation paired with more realistic model.

Hey, remember back when people tried to pretend that TLOU2: Cuckman's Suicide Note wasn't gonna be what was leaked? This is reminding me a lot of that.

I hope that sensitive victimhood seeking faggot tries to DMCA this thread again. Come on Cuckman, threaten the site for keeping leaks on it again. Prove why you deserve a thread.

Imagine charging $70 for a shitty remake of a game that's not even a decade old yet, and is still easily available to purchase, and play.
I honestly wouldn't put it past Sony or Naughty Dog to have the PS4 remaster delisted to reduce the choices down to streaming the original PS3 release or paying $70 for this "remake". They're both greedy and petty enough to pull that sort of stunt to prop up their (lack of) effort, just like Rockstar did with the GTA Trilogy.

Imagine spending that to get your not even a decade old game yet shat on the entire time so that Cuckman can say that this was the "REAL VISION" the entire time and that Joel REALLY is a bad guy and not the good guy from the original version that they just didn't have Time, Money or the Technology to create at the time.

Aside from a few changes in lighting, I really don't see much of a difference in terms of gameplay or textures - the animations are pretty much the same as when they first mo-capped it. Maybe they added a few more polygons to the assets, but it's pretty unremarkable overall.

That being said, the first game holds up remarkably well for being 9 years-old.

The reason they're so against leaks is because they don't want word to spread about how shitty and lazy the product is.

Just like when it happened with Part 2 actually.

ND and its fans are a cult, plain and simple.

Edit: Oh, and that vid they uploaded reeks of sheer desperation.

Seriously, the PS4 remaster still looks decent. No one ever talked about how "dated" it was until this "remake" got announced.

Better textures, higher polygon counts, and more foliage is not enough to justify the $70 while the remaster is still playable.

There’s just no reason this game should’ve been remade. For a ps3 game it was incredible on a technical and graphical level. It’s genuinely one of the most beautiful looking games I’ve played. As for other remakes, to capcom’s credit, RE4 showed its age. Tank controls are the most obvious one. The remake also looks greatly improved graphically. TLOU remake however looks no different. Or maybe I shouldn’t say it looks no different, because when it comes to character models it looks worse. The fact that it doesn’t even include simple features like going prone shows that it’s a blatant cash-grab.

This game looks uncanny as hell.

So whats the point of the remake if its the exact same game/plot with just shittier light and models
Bolstering the PS5's anemic game library. If there's any fanbase willing to pay a premium for a rehash it'd be Naughty Dog fans.

I could have sworn there was already a port of the original PS3 version for the PS5. There really was no reason for them not to use the TLOU2 engine besides pumping out a quick grift.

The ps4 has a remaster that is completely backwards compatible with the ps5.
The reason is to make a quick buck off of a mentally unstable fanbase that made their series their entire personality.
Apart from the pronouns in their twitter bio that is.

I'm wondering on what type of system is the leaker playing the game, is it a Dev unit? or there is already ways to mod the PS5 and run unsigned software?

Also this shit easily should run on the PS4 having in mind how damn good part II looked aside from the uncanny faces.

fucking zoomers...

And they've done even less which I said was possible. 1 patch to change set_framerate_cap = 30; to 60 (literally, that's all it takes to make the game 60 FPS on PS5) and that took 1 bloody year.
tbh I wouldn't be surprised if there are lazy devs STILL tying shit like physics to a capped framerate.

Do people actually like the Last of Us II or do they just pretend to show how progressive they are or whatever? Sometimes I will look up the play history of people who defend games like this and they either don't have the game played at all or only have a few hours at most played and have like 1 or 2 trophies unlocked.
I liked it and I finished it but I'm aware it had its failings. I think because I played it directly after I had (eventually) finished TLOU there wasn't an emotional build-up of years of waiting and hype after seeing the ending.
