Her known alts are banned. There's also apossibilitycertainty she's created another and lurks here, though.

UUCP (and Usenet) weren't really that interesting. Honestly I had zero interest in anything on the internet probably until around 1997 or so when I realized there were a number of ftp sites carrying stuff from musicians I was into (i.e. people composing in ScreamTracker or ImpulseTracker) and demogroups I followed, but YMMV.
Tracker music is the best. I love retro games and you can really tell the difference between tracker music and MIDI, even with the best MIDI devices like MT-32/Soundcanvas
Which is what's going to make him set free much more entertaining than if he was locked up.
Take him to Friday's to celebrate. The man hasn't had a night out for a long time.
the fact hat they are giving him a deferment and he might skate and get off light with maybe probation is pure lunacy ! especially given the fact chris is clearly a very unstable person and has been for decades. but yet they are working it so possible autism and or intellectual disabilities were why hes done the things hes done ???!! bullshit !!
Autism, and it's hardships are one thing, and can often seem similar to sociopathic individuals in certain respects. But imho , Chris exhibits low skill planning and disregard for major consequences (reputation, health, financial.) And impact, consistently.
People tend to forget most folks who would fall under the old sociopath banner, are not the guy from American Psycho , or the zodiac killer. Most let their poor impulse control and lack of ability screw themselves over pretty quickly.
I know people are raging about it, but I think it's actually a fair question for the courts to address.
Think about it this way -- would Chris have fucked Barb if he wasn't a retard? I'm not saying that Chris would be a good person if he wasn't a retarded autist, I'm saying he might not be a motherfucker. Would he have run over Snyder over being banned from his Pokemon gym? Would he have maced a Gamestop employee?
We laugh at Chris because of the stupid retarded things he does, and fucking his mom is definitely the most retarded thing he's ever done.
Yes, we can all point to the retards who don't do terrible things, and it's true that being a retard doesn't automatically make you do horrible things.
But I think it's fair to question if *Chris* does horrible things because of his condition. I am inclined to believe so. I believe that non-retarded Chris would not have fucked Barb, or run over Snyder, or maced a Gamestop employee over blarms.
Non-retard Chris would probably just be a mostly-law-abiding asshole, like plenty of others everyone has known.
By the way, for the legalfags here, what types of probation are there? Does a single failure to meet with your probation officer result in automatically going back to prison, or does it mean that they tighten the terms if your probation period or lengthen it, first?
If it's nothing too terrible, a slip up usually results in a warning. Repeated violations get you locked up again. It really depends on what you did and how your probation officer feels about it.
The fastest way to get sent back is to do something related to what got you in trouble in the first place. In Chris' case that would be trying to go see Barb again (if not authorized to do so). That would get him sent back pretty quick. By extension, that would also mean going back to 14BC.
i love how people think Chris is so lucky, he's got a year in prison without trial. if this was someone people cared about people would be mocking the continuance instead of sperging over it. this is a pretty big violation of rights, remember that whole "speedy trial" amendment? this is exactly what it was meant to prevent. continuance for years on end. look at mercedes careera, chris could be continuanced for 4 years. which would be way past any max sentence for what he's accused of.
Chris has the right to a speedy trial *if he wants it*. You are free to not use that right if it will not lead to a better outcome.
The right to a speedy trial is there to protect the innocent and people who have committed very minor crimes. I covered this in the FAQ.
