FAQ is out of date, but most of it is still accurate if you read the "if so and so happens, then it means this" parts of the answers and just apply the current happenings.
Short story, Chris is in big boy circuit court now, charged with a felony, and has waived indictment so he wound up skipping the grand jury process (grand jury that decides if charges can go forward, not a trial jury that decides guilt) even though it was scheduled.
His attorney has applied for deferred disposition due to autism (covered under the autism defense section of the FAQ). If accepted, it means Chris will probably plead guilty and then given probation, which if he completes successfully may result in the charges being dropped, with no conviction for incest on his record.
It is speculated that sometime soon he is going to a group home.
As to if he'll be able to communicate, nobody knows. It depends on the terms of his probation and the rules of the group home.
