I dunno, maybe I'm being a bit of an A-Log here but these kind of things bother me, it sometimes feels like justice systems care more about criminals than they do victims.I'm under the impression that since deferred disposition is intended for "special" cases, the court has a lot more leeway in setting special terms and requirements on the probation. It's for cases where the normal criminal proceedings simply don't apply or don't work. Chris is a problem to be solved, not a case to be punished.
No, it's liberalism and hedonism gone wild. There's no doubt in my mind that Barb resisted, Chris admitted she said no. I doubt she has the cognitive function to indulge in a rape fantasy.I dunno, maybe I'm being a bit of an A-Log here but these kind of things bother me, it sometimes feels like justice systems care more about criminals than they do victims.
But I guess I don't know all the details of this case, maybe it was some kind of disgusting consensual incest and not the worst case scenario of Chris raping his dementia ridden mother.

Would you?Would you take Chris' Gay Vaccine to protect yourself from monkey pox?
His tugboat is taxpayer money!Let him pay for his tard management out of his own tugboat. Why should the Virginia taxpayer be punished for Chris' crimes?
I agree about assumed innocence in justice and all that and was meaning actual criminals being treated with kid gloves.Justice systems MUST care more about defendants than victims because not every defendant is actually a criminal.
That's not to say Chris isn't a criminal. He's guilty as fuck, but punishing him would be ineffective and expensive. Let him pay for his tard management out of his own tugboat. Why should the Virginia taxpayer be punished for Chris' crimes?

Jenny McCarthy said vaccines cause autism. I'm just saying there should be more testing before replacing some of your DNA with Chris'.Would you?
I don’t get my medical knowledge from actresses.Jenny McCarthy said vaccines cause autism. I'm just saying there should be more testing before replacing some of your DNA with Chris'.
They're already being punished for his mere existence, at least that way they won't be punished any more for his motherfucking than they were already. That's not to say Chris isn't a criminal. Do you guys think people tried to warn Bob and Barb they were too old to have kids?
You don't spoon with your mother?Chris's relationship with Barb had been creepy for a while before that. He regularly spooned with her.
I guess law and justice is a complicated thing, don’t agree law should exclude retributive punishment otherwise you’ll just get sociopaths crying crocodile tears in court about ‘Muh trauma/socioeconomic status/whatever’ and get a slap on the wrist if they’ve got a good enough lawyer, I can see why in vigilantism is a thing and local communities just keep quiet about it in extreme cases although rehabilitation is obviously an important part of justice. Here's the thing about that: the purpose of justice is not to punish criminals or make them "pay" for their crimes. How could a murderer ever repay his victims or their families? What's done is done. No, the actual purpose is to try to prevent more such crimes in the future. Sometimes that means making an example of criminals to deter other potential criminals. Sometimes that means locking up the criminal so he can't re-offend while contained. Sometimes that even means rehabilitation so the criminal won't re-offend even when released.
Most of that can't actually apply to Chris, though. You don't need to make an example of him, because who the fuck would want to be him or do what he's done? He will NEVER be rehabilitated. The best you can do is contain him, and if you can do that at his own expense, why wouldn't you>
Also sending Chris to a tard depository might seem like the soft option compared to prison, but Chris will likely hate it far, far more.

But anyway with Chris I agree there’s not much you can do, I mentioned him being on a sex offenders register so others could be aware of his criminal history but maybe that’s already happened, I guess he’s high profile enough most people can easily find out.
I don’t know what’s happening with Chris right or what restrictions he might get but my main concern is any placement is a temporary measure and eventually he’ll get out and get in legal trouble again.
