I was watching footage of the game wondering how anyone could write such intensely unfunny dialogue and this explains it all. A woke white woman with hipster glasses wrote it. Just scrolling through her archived twitter shows her retweeting tweets about fascism and capitalism. Ironic given that she's in the gaming industry which is one of the most ruthlessly capitalistic businesses. I hope the woke brownie points you got was worth throwing away millions of dollars Volition. Fucking morons.

People here are saying it's not, I wouldn't know either way since AMD is dragging on giving me the promised key that comes with the new GPU I recently bought. DENUVO and Epic exclusive means I wouldn't have spent money on it but I needed the replacement anyway so I will check into it once they get going and follow up. I'm dreading the game already though this would just be the cherry on the shitberg.

not to overplay my hand but im a pretty young guy and this game seems like a 40 year old wine aunts idea of how to appeal to me. i hate this. then again im not into marvel so there might be a massive demographic of people my age who want this but millenials are OLD. theyre uncool as shit so trying to sell this as a millenial power fantasy is like if they made a film in the 90s to appeal to boomers

Except that I unironically loved Saints Row IV and had the most fun with it.
However, I do agree with anyone who thought that Gat Out Of Hell was shit.

It's actually my favorite superhero game. On its own merits, it was a good game. I don't see why the SR fandom has a problem with it.
