This is the sound of the FBI brass deciding to crack down. I'd note to everyone, the FBI isn't actually part of t =he Uniparty, that's almost soley the realm of the politicians, and instead the FBI is loosely allied with the Uniparty but definitely its own, separate group. A group which had some of its agents used for a politically botched fishing expedition, was repeatedly made to seem weak with its agents going on fun rogue tangents, and now is facing down the very real possibility that if the ol' guy gets back in power he will begin cutting the fat with a meat cleaver instead of a scalpel.

Seems to me that that brass has decided that cleaning house may be in order.

Don't be too excited though, the FBI will still be the FBI. Interested in its own power and propagation and first and foremost out for itself.

If Trump takes a chainsaw to the FBI, CIA, and IRS, I don’t expect those these sacrificial lambs will save them.

I miss Psaki. At least she had comebacks for actual hard-hitting questions that you could rip apart. This bitch however is just boring and dumb as fuck
She is bad at her job. And I don't mean simply having a retort. The job of the press secretary is to spin bullshit and make good sound bites for the camera. They are to give a superficially acceptable answer that will be considered okay for media on her side and difficult to take apart by the other.

She can't even do the former. Her answers are so bad even the media aligned with her has to call her out in order to save face.

The Farms has a certain value to a lot of people. It might seem pathos, but a lot of it is probably exaggeration. We just can't get information and discuss it elsewhere like we can here. And I just can't sleep at night without knowing what insights daddy Ghenna has about the effects of current events on democrat polling. :^)
While I have pretty good sources for information, I find this thread invaluable for getting a wide range of reasonably politically aligned takes. Most of the posters here have perspectives that help me process news in order to calculate second order derivates, and I appreciate it.

Speaking from the Canadian perspective any push to implement faces difficulty out the door due to the innate complexity over how it works. First past the post is intuitive for everyone, proportional voting makes sense given its nature, but ranked systems require detailed explanations, and detailed explanations are where political platforms usually go to die. Castro Junior and the Libs up here are big (if quiet) proponents of ranked voting for obvious reasons and even they couldn't push it through when elected on enacting electoral reform.

Bigger risk IMO is the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact coming into effect since that effectively hands the Presidency to the Dems on a silver platter.
Funny how obvious it is that you do not actually have a Federal guarantee of a right to vote when things like the Interstate Compact couldn't exist if you did. The suffrage amendments just make it so that, if citizens of a state can vote, they can't exclude women and minorities.

Presidents have historically entered office highly critical of the intel agencies (Nixon, Ford, Carter) and had a tendency to change their opinion in office. In general, understanding the purpose of an intel agency (the CIA was almost as amateurish as the OSS, and was formed originally to summarize information for the president; spy satellite operators noticed nuclear silos but not the general disrepair of the USSR).

The relationship between the intel agencies and the rest of government needs to be drastically redefined. Trump has his own vision, and I'd really like him to be able to see it through, but I think I'd rather make an enemy of any other part of government, even the military, than intel.

Sabotage on a level you have never seen before.
How effective would that realistically be if Trump gets another term? Trump getting re-elected means they've lost their war against him

Not so for Truman. He created the CIA and later had to admit he'd created a monster

If Trump tried to utilize the FBI to his own ends as in siccing them muzzles off on Far Left groups like Antifa and BLM/associated groups how would that go? Or would they refuse since the two are too intertwined?
Refuse. He asked Wray to look at BLM/Antifa when they were burning down the country and Wray refused to do anything. If I'm not mistaken he gave him the whole bullshit about Anitfa only being an idea.

It's why at least 90% of the FBI (and most of the government agencies) need to be gutted and replaced. I don't give a fuck about the 'pipeline' or 'institutional experience' regarding these roles, I want people motivated to do the fucking job. A person of average intellect and ability will accomplish far more just by trying earnestly, considering the 'highly qualified veterans' are all working to undermine the people's will.

This bitch should be the picture example under the definition of "Diversity hire." Nothing else comes close to a more obvious example of someone who is reliably worse in every way from her predecessor and getting a job because a few checkboxes were ticked.

I had to go outside and walk around. I had to actually do work at my job instead of being a weirdo who laughs at his phone. It was fucking terrible.
Protip: You can walk in circles and read Kiwi, that is how I get in all the cardio steps. I also probably have an RSI from looking at my tablet.

He'd get accused of a witch hunt by a "whistleblower" immediately. He has a much better chance by leveraging civilian NGOs like the Fraternal Order of Police.

Not that it matters with Soros DAs in cities. You'd need to have federal charges that can stick.

Whenever someone sees Jean-Pierre and thinks it's a high point for diversity I just roll my eyes and suggest they actually watch a few press briefings before saying that in public

Ranked choice is a smokescreen designed to create the illusion that candidate has a majority backing of it's constituents. A city in my state has it and in the first round of a mayoral election a conservitive candidate would have won by a hearty margin (45%) over the cloud of dems they were running against not managing to get over 15% of the first vote. But because of ranked choice that candidate lost because it just became a dem party "second primary" and pushed all the (d) votes to one candidate. It made the message clear, the dem party is immune to spoiler candidates.

I'm sure the DOJ will get right on this vandalism

Sigh. Not just what happened, because that's sadly child's play today, but of course Twitter is pushing the left-wing responses to the fore in the replies. They really want you to believe the Republicans had this coming. Won't backfire, I'm sure.
