I'm gonna disagree with you there (a tiny bit) ,I figure his shame & regrets would either be a) comparatively normal (by Farms standards) or b) so horrifying and unhinged you can't help but look away - entertainment either way.

Well, unless his shame ended up being something Bate-like. Then yeah, it'd have been better not to know.

Lucas is far more dangerous than CWC. CWC was very passive and thought his dream girl would fall in his lap. Lucas thinks he is owed a barely-legal girlfriend and has shown he doesn't care if other people are made uncomfortable by his actions. He might resort to rape if he thought he could get away with it, but he seems to want a long-term sex slave, so I think he might go for some homeless drug addict that he can bribe with food or small amounts of money.

She mentioned the power being out due to severe weather, so maybe it just took the utility company longer than expected to get things restored. Also, if the power's out, probably internet's out too. She was most likely posting from her phone, and I bet she just hasn't had a chance to recharge it. Or Lucas is stranded in a strange town, without internet access, so there's no new material.
EDIT: I checked both Lucas' and the catfish's Facebook pages, and they were updated on Wednesday, so something's going on. We'll have to wait until @QueenBurritoSupreme returns.
