Money Internet detective proves Chris bought the PS4 himself

I guess the biggest clue Chris was lying the whole time was when he said that the buyer of the PS4 redeemed a bunch of amibos with their voucher. Chris is the only person who would find value in those amibos over anything else he has on offer.
What makes it even better is the Facebook announcement that it would take him a couple of months to complete the order. It's almost as Chris knows that everyone else thinks he's a total slob, so in order to make the lie more believable, he gave a time frame that would be expected of him.

I don't think some Fingerhut employee willingly leaked the information though, 'cause it would be really easy for the management to trace and the person who supplied the information could get in a pretty big trouble. A more probable explanation would be social engineering or just gaining access to Chris's e-mail account.

The thing that still bugs me is that he wanted the white Destiny PS4 bundle. Why did he settle for the niggo-colored life upgrade?

It was probably all he could afford. I think the bundle he got was the cheapest one while still getting it brand new. If it wasn't the flat out cheapest, then it was probably the cheapest special bundle one.
Of course he asked his "fans" for the Destiny bundle, since it wouldn't be his money spent...

just knowing Chris, with his two phones and two 3DS, he will buy the Destiny bundle eventually.

Based on a quick search, it looks like Fingerhut doesn't have the Destiny PS4 Bundle. I'm guessing they were the only ones who would give him credit, so he had to go with what they had.

What the hell is Chris doing buying from Fingerhut at all? I thought that site was for people trying to rebuild their credit or for those with completely trashed credit? There's a website similar to Fingerhut that sells all the same shit for cheaper prices. It's called Gettington. I'm glad he bought the PS4 but I just wanted to point this out.

He's done Fingerhut before.

I wouldn't be shocked if he does it just because Barb has bought half the hoard from it.

Pretty much this.
Chris has likely maxxed out all his "normal" credit cards therefore making purchases from amazon or other places more difficult.
There is also the fact that Chris has been known to not check prices and just buy from the first place that he can think of.
Buying from a site exclusively made for people who want to buy what they can't afford is pretty Chris and paying for the 36$ express shipping (NOWNOWNOWNOW!) makes sense too.
