Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

The new autism deferral makes any predictions extremely difficult. People, reasonably, assume that it’s a path to a defendant getting off easy but it’s just as likely that they can use it to be more restrictive than they could be through normal procedures. If Chris was convicted and punished, there are established limits on what the commonwealth could do without violating civil rights. If they aren’t “punishing” him, they have much more leeway to think outside the box. They can’t say “your punishment is that you can’t send letters” but they could say “don’t send letters or else you will get the punishment we could give you”

Rob Bell was the one who introduced that deferral, right? I wonder if people (weens) let him know the one that would benefit from it was one of Bell's most infamous clients?

When we first saw the waiving indictment and transportation order a lot of us thought Chris was getting out soon and coming back for a probation review in August 2023, but now that so long has passed I don't think they plan on Chris getting out on probation any time soon, I think they seriously plan on letting Chris rot in jail for another whole year without even looking at his case until August 2023. When that date comes, they might kick the can down the road another year or 2 or 5, because they can now that he's been upgraded to felony charges, so what little since of urgency there was before is gone.

They might keep Chris in jail on continuances until 2031

Kick the autistic can.

That's been Chris' life: degenerate, unhealthy fixation on the internet, delusions of grandeur and continuances. His parents didn't know what to do with him, and so will the system. The problem for Chris is he'll never realize what his future will be and go for a copium ride for a long, long time until he snaps.

I also favor the theory that Chris is getting an unofficial Barb's life sentence. If she were dead by now, they might have let him go back to 14 Branchland court, but they definitely don't want him out while she's still alive. So come August of next year, they'll see if Barb's still alive, if she is, Chris gets a continuance for 2024. Barb's still alive? 2025 Barb's still alive? 2026, 2027, oh, she's finally dead now? Chris gets out on time served and goes back to 14 Branchland Court to sink or swim on his tardbucks

Thinking like a Soviet-era judge here; if Virginia is required to "find a home" for mentally ill inmates before they can be released, doesn't that suggest it might be possible to hold one indefinately by claiming no such home can be found?
It seems they're actually doing that, which actually raises some pretty serious due process issues.

I don't know if someone had pointed it out already but this random thought happened to me. A few days ago a new Sonic game came out and another Pokémon game is scheduled to be released in a few weeks. These games keep coming in, they keep targeting young and autistic audiences as they have done from the beginning, but now Chris is an old (wo)man rotting in jail. Chris will not be playing this shit any longer, his time has faded away.
I'm being optimistic here by assuming Chris's room hasn't been cleaned out and everything thrown away. If Chris can get his old stuff from his room after his release from jail, he'll have a Switch and a PS4. If he has discretionary money he could certainly buy the new Sonic game, as popular PS4 games tend to drop in price. The previous Sonic game, from 2017, now sells for less than $20, but he bought three copies of it.

The Pokémon game might be a bit more expensive. Nintendo doesn't like to drop the price of most of their AAA titles, so even buying used they stay expensive. It will likely be over $40, and Chris will want both versions. He'll want to buy a couple more Pokémon games that have been released during his incarceration as well. This may require some e-begging, as that's how he got Pokémon Shield.

If Chris leaves jail with a big tugboat saved up, he's going to waste a lot of it on Legos if he can, including Sonic, Mario, Optimus Prime, and various sets for girls. I would estimate that if allowed to go on a shopping spree, Chris will spend around $1000 on Lego sets. Of note, there is an inexpensive set with a white pony which would be perfect for customization so Chris will buy as many of that one as he can.

I forget that the VA jail system sees/IDs him as a male. I wonder if he'll grow a beard by then.

People keep saying the law requires them to find a home for the mentally ill, but does that include Chris?

WE know he's nuts, but Chris bragged that his jail psych eval came back 100% A-OK, and we know Western State found him fit to stand trial and NGRI isn't available to him. I'm not even sure we know he got the autism disposition, and even if he did, does autism count as "mentally ill"?

As crazy as it may sound, Chris may be legally too sane for them to have to find him a home and not dump him out the gates with a tenner

I'm sure Heilberg has some motion working through the system we can't see because the case got sealed, I doubt Chris is just being held indefinitely waiting for a spot in a group home.

Chris isn't too legally sane he's just an idiot. Someone more knowledgeable than I said way back in late August Early September that Chris has some say in which home he gets placed in, and considering how much of an egotistical moron he is he's probably declining every home that has space for him because they're not fit to house a goddess such as himself. And to be fair, it's not like the homes want to deal with an uncooperative tard who's decently capable, so they'll see Chris rejected them and in turn reject Chris.

He's not bonkers enough for confinement but he is seriously intellectually disabled, even if he was nuttier than squirrel shit he's a damn site more sane than the inmates they do confine who are often violent so he'd likely get released to free up the bed for someone who's got more serious issues.

Chris will never accept to be put in the same bag as the slow in da minds.

Borb really hammered down his thick skull that being disabled is the worst think you can be, that they're subhuman and that he's way above them being high functioning and shit.

Which he not only is not, but he's fairly close to be severely intellectually disabled.

Bros chris chan as a lol cow is basically dead but I like to read the speculation here. I dunno if there will be a lolcow like chris chan ever again and probably not and that may be a good thing after all.

And I do think Chris Chan was sissified by one of his last egrills, the one called Catherine or Caitlin.

After all as the cwcwiki says, most of the funniest shit chris has done has been orchestrated by trolls (like his reactions to liquid chris) and he is too stupid to do any kind of insight or wathever.

There will never be another Chris chan. Chris chan is the product of what the late 90s and early 00s were like. Everything about him and everything that is appealing about him is inherent to that particular period. The reason why he became what he became is because he took the landmarks of many of our own childhoods and teenage years (Pokemon, Sonic) and turned it into something horrible and grotesque, and because the Bush era nature of Classic Chris was a dark harbinger of very sinister things to come.

Chris chan is unappealing to anybody who is not either an early millenial or a late Gen X and he only appeals to zoomers that wished they were any of the former. The world, like Chris chan himself, is far too gone to allow somebody like him anymore. Not to allow such a person to exist, but to allow such a story to be salient. All in all Chris chan degeneracy is mild compared to many things we're told we need to normalize.

In other words, this very website was born exclusively to discuss Chris-chan and now is choke full of way worse characters all similar to each other who have somehow confederated and swayed enough political force to almost erase the entire site from existence.

A very different world indeed.
