What exactly did Panda mean by this? Lol.
Panda is kinda annoying because this isn't the first time she sneak roasts DSP on her instagram but she is also radio silent. I'd much prefer if she dropped a Rambo and Howard style discussion tell-all. People say she just has her own social media presence in her own corner of the internet but I think she's being obtuse. Oh well...

This gives credence to my theory that he asked for extra mayo on the BK sandwich. Those Mcd chicken sandwiches never come with that much mayo unless asked for.
A mayonnaise false flag? When it comes to pigroach, nothing is off the table - my mind is open to anything.
It's a weird ego thing for him. All his talk about other people's e-penises about playing at hard difficulties is just pure projection, The Guy is still so buck broken about TIHYDPs that he feels like he has to prove his gaming e-penis by playing normal to glide through the games easily (he still fails lmao) and reading guides every step of the way. The unhinged rant on the Copecast about peepol "slandering" him by saying that he's bad at games proves it.
He absolutely uses guides for almost every game. I believe his breaks are for guides and to check what's new on WWEC. Those games constantly have little updates to keep you glued to them.
This is an amazing clip: "Red alert!!! DEFCON 1! DSPs gamer cred is under attack! What about my legacy? One of the best gamers of the country!"

Just further cements how much he hates TIHYDP, he just changed his rhetoric because it was a dead giveaway. If trolls really want to get under Phil's skin they just have to make him look like an idiot gamer - not hard.
I hate to agree with that creep LTG, but gaming is not a substantive accolade in the grand scheme of things; maybe it should be but it's not (I wish Street Fighter cabinets were still all over the place: diner foyers, movie theater lobbies, arcades, pizzerias, bowling alleys etc, but they are not :'( ). In 100 years no one will remember who "Ninja" (my favorite silly white guy who calls himself "Ninja" is the Die Antwoord guy anyway) or Scump are (they still will remember who Babe Ruth is though). It's not a legacy someone will pass down to their children. The fact that DSP even cares tells a lot about his character. In 15 years he will be no more relevant/remembered than a random myspace person that "virally" made a lot of friends - but a passing fart in the winds of time. This pic will be much more relevant and remembered than anything DSP has ever done, including the fappening.

Anyways, I think the gaming bubble is kind of going to burst, and things will decentralize into little Indie-game communities; or in the case of the big gaming corps become straight up Gacha or NFT collectors. Similar how no rapper has taken the torch from Lil' Wayne (who took it from Biggie and Pac) to become a centralized cultural figure, no game will take the torch that GTA 3,4, and 5 had. It's going to fragment into atomized culturally isolated communities. Strangely, the whole thing reminds me of the story of the tower of babel in the OT.

I think this has already begun, and is part of the reason that Pigroach's business is struggling in ways it never has before. He can no longer glom onto cultural titans, because these titans have been subverted and debased. He is one of several people I know who can't accept the 90's are over. And it's nice to get to congregate with a group of cool people to point and laugh, as DSP writhes and flails himself deeper and deeper into the quicksands of irrelevance.

And to the point of him thinking he's going to transition to political, react, or some other kind of content - it's never going to happen. He has no knowledge, skills, or work ethic. Modern gaming has provided him this loophole to be able to legally 'react' while pushing forward on the left thumb stick. As I stated above, this is going away and it's never coming back. The only chance he would have would be to be a Gacha Game streamer, which he likely can't do because he has committed fraud on his taxes and bankruptcy. The only future for piggy is the slow death of a thousand wheelchairs.

Imagine being 40 years old, and guilt-tripping mentally ill kids and strangers on the internet into buying you a manchild sweater like a little kid pulling his mom's arm when seeing a toy he wants for Christmas and moaning about it.

Absolutely fucking shameless.

Once again, he learned nothing from the Wolverine toy incident.

Makes zero sense to me, gaming is only getting bigger and more centralized. There's always the next GTA5, be it a new CoD or a new God of War or whatever comes next.

I think in your rap example you're confusing the size of the subculture with fragmentation. If your community is relatively small the percentage of "passionate" fans will be large in comparison the whole population and there will be a stronger sense of "community" and consensus (having the same passion). Those days are long gone for gaming, they were gone before Dave even started making videos. The bigger the culture gets the more normies get involved and just consume the next big thing that is marketed to them. The population of genuine "movie buffs" in film has probably remained pretty stable over the years, but most people just watch the big next Marvel movie, which means the "movie buff" quota over the whole of movie-goers is small. If you're looking for diversity in opinions and taste you'll have to go to tiny minority who actually cares deeply about film. Just look at how the general public reacts when someone like Tarantino dares to criticize Marvel. So no, becoming bigger and more popular doesn't cause fragmentation. Fragmentation would be a good thing. A subculture I'm more familar with (metal) has always been very healthy exactly because it is very fragmented.

In any case, neither normies nor actual gamers have any interest in Dave's shitty fake gamer streams.

The above rant about gamers' legacy and the importance of being a cultural icon is dumb. Half the people currently in the streaming and games entertainment business actually don't even want to become a part of history and see it more as a job. Ironically, saying that these people "won't be remembered in a 100 years" is also a big doubt in my mind. Their lore might be lost in time, but a good chunk of them will be remembered "by proxy" anyway. As long as street fighter is still a thing in the future, people will most likely remember the best and worst players of these games. Even if people stop caring about Chris Chan, the Sonic franchise will keep going, and his meme of a life and Sonichu are going to get a mention. Such is the nature of internet meme culture. I can easily see Phil's "oh the camera's been on" moment being mentioned until 2100. The thing about Phis is that he does have a legacy it's just that it's a very small legacy of awfulness. He is struggling really hard to change it, but his gacha gin brain doesn't understand he should change himself instead of his image. Too late for him. Ngmi.

He's been trying to get on Max's radar for some drama lately.

Hmm his gamer credentials get put on the line and he loses it.

When did that Kirby game come out again? The one he rage quit at the final boss?
Also that Dragonsquest Builder 2 game he just quit around the final boss too.

I would love if he gets pissed at the game and quits when it actually gets hard.

Odd argument to use for someone that allegedly remembers shit from over 20 years ago.
Remember, it’s slander to say that Phil is bad at video games. He said so himself.

while also saying others are bad at video games
