I remember making a spergpost about that when he played Elden Ring. Specifically it was in response to him losing his mind about reviewers giving Elden Ring 10/10 scores and it can't be perfect when the camera is bad. Throughout his handheld experience he kept bitching about the camera being bad and the IDIOTS from FrahmSahwftwehr never fixing it in any of their games, when it's always his own fucking fault. He still has the same bitchmade playstyle he had since he first picked up Demon's Souls more than 10 years ago - Attack enemy until stamina depletes, then immediately start walking backwards and dodging backwards if they attack until stamina is full. Then his ass hits a wall or, even worse, a corner and the camera starts going apeshit because he keeps trying to walk backwards even though he's already hit the wall. This even happened in ridiculous circumstances, I remember around 2 or 3 of his 100 deaths to Melania was because he backstepped into a wall and then died because of it and Melania's boss arena is as big as a football field. Then it's the idiot developers' and the khemera's fault. It's like charging your cavalry into a wall of pikes in a Total War game and then bitching how the "cavalry mechanics" don't work when they get melted.
He also legit has to have some sort of profound learning disability. He's played every soulslike from From themselves plus he's played both Nioh games to completion and he still has the same bitchmade passive playstyle that someone who is playing a soulslike game for the very first time in their life would have. He's played Bloodborne which is faster-paced and encouraged an aggressive playstyle and both Nioh games which are even faster and reward even more aggressive gameplay and his combat strats are still completely passive and bitchmade. Also if he ever strafes he always strafes to the wrong side, for example if an enemy's gimmick is that they have a huge shield and it blocks most of the damage, he'd always strafe to their shield side and hit their shield during an opening.
Though in some way it does make sense why he never learned how to get better at any game genre, not just soulslikes. All of his gameplay experiences have been aided by heavy use of guide reading, then when he started streaming he started getting handheld by chat and it's gotten so terrible in the past few years that we've gotten streams that border on self-parody, like that one Morrowind stream where he spent the entire. Fucking. Stream. On the alchemy menu because he had to get handheld on every single ingredient for every single potion he made. Why would he ever need to learn how any game works when he's never had to?
