Phil is a prideful pig. If the interviewer isn't focused completely on him then he feels like the person is not respecting him. I believe he is also astonished by the fact that some people (read most people) can talk and play video games at the same time. He gets distracted by chat talking about weird topics so badly that he can't play games (or so he says). So much so that he raged at them numerous times because they weren't talking about the game he was playing right that moment. The man probably can't piss and breathe at the same time. Honestly, a more casual environment like that would be preferable for Phil.

And he's distracted by his chat constantly because he has to exert physical effort to even look at them. Has he ever wondered why every competent streamer has their chat and stream settings in the same direction as the screen they play games on? I love that the (tiny amount of) effort he does put in goes to things that inconveniences him.

This will be a big arc at some point, from the bank leaks I think he was paying $500 a month in taxes which is obviously nowhere near enough.

I'm pretty sure that the money he was paying towards taxes is the payment plan for the taxes he'd already not paid on time. His plan for taxes is to just keep rolling them onto payment plans.

Hie ego would never let him, it would mean admitting the trolls were right. Plus even the biggest of dents would wonder why he could spend $100's per stream then say he has no money to afford food.

He's already lost the people who genuinely thought that he was in financial distress, especially after his abysmal response to the bank leaks. The only people who are stuck around now simply do not give a fuck about where the money goes.

Y'all get real special about the tax thing. In the world where the IRS even bothers to investigate him, its really fucking easy for him to write off gatcha spending as a business expense. You are allowed to deduct for unreleased or even failed projects, it wouldnt be hard to claim WWE or any of the past gatcha games is either case.

And honestly its good that the gov is so lenient with bankruptcies and tax breaks. You just have to accept that fat, unrepentant murderers like DSP get to take advantage of it.

I think it's more of a resource management question than a justice question, sure they may investigate DSP and find him guilty, but the dude just went bankrupt and he's already paying back taxes on a payment plan. It would be like drawing blood from a stone to try to get him to pay more.
