For me, it's whenever Phil tries to be a pseudo-intellectual on topics he tries to appear very familiar with, but fundamentally knows next to nothing about. You can see this a lot in his sports games playthroughs, where he says things like
"This team would never win! That's so unrealistic!" But I've recently noticed that he tries to act like he's knows shit about guns when he obviously doesn't know anything at all. For example,
he acts like it's impossible to be killed by a hand-gun at like 50 yards, and rants like it's the most outrageous thing in the world, when in fact it's 100% plausible to be shot from much higher distances than that. He's basically a know-nothing-know-it-all.
It's also really annoying whenever he gets a tip asking him some question that he decides to go to a long-form answer by
pausing the game to answer. So you're essentially wasting your viewers' time by rambling about whatever mundane shit is on his mind by not playing the fucking game they pay him to.
Also, comparing any game that has any difficulty to Dark Souls. Even if the game or series in question is much older than Dark Souls.
Finally, it's when Phil attempts to look like he's thinking by going "Hmm..." when he's actually just reading chat for solutions. It's very,
very obvious when he spends ten fucking minutes trying to solve a puzzle in an incorrect manner, then just randomly divines the correct answer in a very unnatural way.
