Really autistic one here, My pet peeve is that he never does any research on anything he plays to make it easier on himself. Any time he tries to play Street Fighter with people, for instance, he'll play the anniversary collection instead of Fightcade and have a much worse experience because of it.

Phil is well aware of Fightcade and how much better it is than the cashgrab Capcom collections. He's complained before about how the people on there will have actually practised and know how to play the game.

But that's just how he describes everything. It's never as simple as it really is supposed to be. "I bought cat food" becomes "I had to travel from the safe space of the snort fort to procure nourishment for my feline son and also provide him with wiry pipe cleaner toys to maintain a modicum of mirth..." Phil over-describes the mundane to make it seem like he's got a great deal going on. His life must have the MGS alert theme playing all the time, even though he can't figure out how to use rations.

Mine is in a similar vain: Just how nonchalant and blasé Phil is about all the terrible things he's done (begging, scams, threats, lying, doxing, even perjury) - nobody's perfect but most of us feel bad when we mess up or hurt someone, even if we had good intentions or it was an honest mistake. With Phil, he seems to treat the grift as just another part of life like buying groceries. There's part of me that can't help but think "this situation is fucked up, why does nobody seem to care outside of an odd assortment of Internet shitposters"?

Edit: Now that I've written it all out, this sounds an awful lot like the banality of evil. Phil's sociopathy would be terrifying if he weren't so lazy and inept.

When he's talking to someone in his chat he'll look for a reason to put them on hold. It happens all the time and it pisses me off. Something mundane will happen in the game he's playing or something and he'll overreact just to stop talking to whoever he was talking to. It's rude and I hate him. Die!

Exactly! I still believe that he honestly thought that was going to be the rest of his life: keeping making that kind of money for the rest of his natural life, doing the bare minimum, and making money hand over fist. Not realizing that the people that came during Phil's time made their money, once they realized that they wanted to do other things, they left and did other things with their lives. Not in Phil's case. To him, he thought the gravy train was never going to end. Even his parents expressed concern when they went to the CTKhando, saw all those figurines, and said that they were worried about his spending. What did the idiot do? Move across the country when he was bleeding money. Under normal circumstances, most mentally ill idiots see a dip in income, they buckle down and cut spending. In Phil's case? No. Keep living a life that one's finances cannot keep up with, because there is always is going to be a whale with a velcro wallet ready to hand a grifter their SSI check.
 
I think right now, the whole taking the piss out of Maximilian Dood, often simply responding to every nice thing that happens to the guy and especially after Benny passed away. I guarantee you when Jasper passes away either naturally or if Phil sits on the poor thing without looking, he's not gonna give a shit.
It's genuinely despicable. And if I had a "Permit 1 Free Beatdown" ticket, I'd give it to Max and let him Flash Kick and Sonic Boom Phil across his house before claiming Jasper as his own.

But on a more common note, the fact this guy doesn't practice. No Epitaph-style five-minutes-into-the-future hard reads in any fighting games, no attempt to download any character at all.
"Aahf course." Of course what? That that's the feature this character was advertised with, the newcomer pisshead's ability to drink himself into Super Sayian 4? You didn't look at the trailer?

Fuck, I just remembered the other thing: he works so hard to not work so hard and continue this hollow charade of "being realer than the disingenuous shills".
Ah yes, you're so honest, actually so honest in ways you seem completely blind to, ways you cannot possibly comprehend - for fifteen years.
He thinks if he just talks so much on his Level 1 Fagcast that everybody won't care and will care for that fucking lamp of his.
 
One of the most infuriating things Phil does is downplay other people to make himself look better. One particular example that really made my blood boil was when Phil was talking about his ex-girlfriend, Leanna. The context was that Kat was not his ex-girlfriend and was sick of attributing Leanna to Kat. Phil started talked about how she started a soap business and it "FAILED miserably." He says it in passing but it all comes down to Phil dishing it out but not being able to take it. I don't want to morally grandstand but adding that extra bit about Leanna "failing" is so unnecessary, especially knowing that Leanna cant respond to his bullshit.
 
The way he pronounces khantent, pawp, gawd, chawppy, stawp, and other such words, the same way I do and I don't like it. At least I don't laugh like "eh-ahck eh-ahck eh-ahck", but then again neither does Phil, right...? :stress:

This reminds me of another thing he does and did with Jamie. He would let Jamie get full drink and then Jamie would hit him with something, and then do his rekka punches. Because it does a lot of hits at level 4, Phil would yell "Oh look! Massive combo! This is all off of one hit!"

First off: everything is off of one hit, Phil, that's how combos work most of the time. In the rare case the combo needed set up with a trap, projectile or something else, I guarantee he has said the same thing and not understood why its retarded.

Second: as in the Jamie example, sometimes the "huge combo" isn't huge at all. Jamie doing one kick into rekka is nothing. DSP's own cancels from normal into dragon punch on or donkey kick on Ryu would do the same kind of damage. Jamie is just doing more hits because you let him get to level 4, but they don't all hit as heavy as a dragon punch.
 
That stupid snicker he does that sounds like a snake hiss really pisses me off. It only happens whenever he is calling someone or some company stupid and full of morons and is always just him jerking his own ego off. I think it's the biggest tell that Mr. King of Hate was an act was in fact, not an act.
 
How he blames games. Not that he does, but HOW he does it.

It is some of the most paranoid, self-important shit I've ever seen. Pokemon is a good example for this, its a single player game aimed at a younger demographic. The game will sometimes throw something you aren't expecting, or haven't seen yet to keep you on your toes. Such as a pokemon knowing a move that deals super effective damage or split type that makes fighting it difficult (Gen 3 flying gym and Altaria come to mind). Phil played V/S and bitched that it is such a big coincidence that some pokemon in gym battles would have moves that were effective against their type matchups, or that the opponent was using their best move over and over again as though this was something done deliberately to slight the player, instead of a curveball you should be quickly adapting to. Same thing in COD, SF, or anything that isn't a brain dead walking sim. Everything is conspiring against him and nothing is playing fair.

He said the game was bullshit and there was no way he could have predicted his rival would have that pokemon, when that pokemon was her starter.

After his chat telling him that and that he could just use a water type like his own starter, he started coping that it was the game's fault, because it was designed with the intention that you would always have your starter.
But Phil is a variety style khantent streamer dood! He did nothing wrong and the game is fucking him over for having no type coverage! No, he can't just bring another water pokemon or give a water move to one of his other types, it's just impahssible.

How he can be so retarded even in pokemon is beyond me.
 
His strange contradictory tendencies of blaming a game for not handholding him, but at the same time, ignoring tutorial popups.

Doing one or the other would be eyerolling, but the fact that he does both means that he's causing his own problem half the time.
 
For me, damn near every single thing about him can be broken down into individual pet peeves. He is a man who does absolutely nothing right or well, and I can nitpick almost every single action he takes and find at least 5 pet peeves about it.

Just a quick example - eating.
  1. The pained faces he makes when taking a bite
  2. The paper plates
  3. Acting like he knows how authentic food should be made when talking about other cultures
  4. The way he eats individual ingredients separately when they should be mixed together
  5. How sloppy he is, dripping everywhere, lip smacking and general disgusting behavior

What annoys me about those moments are the fact that he's not only ignorant about what he's talking about, he's never wrong. Like the I'll still kill you thing: guy gets him in close quarters and stabs him. Supposedly, guns beat knives in all situations because life is rock paper scissors. All of his call of duty streams are like this because he pretends he knows so much about guns, never having held or fired one. His ignorance is astounding and frustrating because he can never admit he doesn't know what hes talking about.

More specific pet peeve: no, no, no. I don't know when he started with that but holy shit does it make me want to punch him, and I'm not a violent guy.

Number 3 comes to mind recently with the Greek food he ate. He was so fascinated by the goddamn rice when it's a simple lemon pilaf. And I fucking hate how he says everything is "TANGY"
