Trainwreck Alex Dacy / Alex Dzimtowicz / Wheelchair Rapunzel - 50% wholesome disability influencer, 50% that cash me outside girl

That looks to me like a co sleeper cot. It slots along the side of the bed.
I think it's this bassinet.

I had an almost identical one. It's a really good choice for them and means theoretically alex can breastfeed in the night (if she chooses to and is able to) without having to get up and get the baby up while safely co sleeping or at least rock and shush the baby without having to be lifted out of bed herself. Well done guys you made a not completely retarded choice keep it up.

Edit: some of the more interesting q and a updates from stories.
I'll give Alex some credit today she has been a lot more what I can only describe as "real". She's still combative against the haters but she seems to be getting serious about the baby actually happening rather than this abstract magic thing that was going to appear.

Alex did a massive Q&A today on IG stories and I'm going to break it up in parts to try to make it more readable.

We'll start off with somebody in the UK wanting to report Alex to CPS and Alex's reaction to it.
Child protective services.jpeg CPS 2.jpeg CPS 3.jpeg

Then there's some questions about the baby's name, if they've decided on one and when they'll share it.
Baby name 2.jpeg Name baby 3.jpeg Baby name.jpeg Name 4.jpeg

Question on how Alex is managing her GD and according to her she's doing it well.
GD 1.jpeg GD 2.jpeg

People asked how they're going to manage with the baby after the birth, who will help them with the baby's care.

She answers questions about future kids and if she will get pregnant again.
Future kids.jpeg 4 kids.jpeg

Best part of being pregnant, what she disliked about it and what's the thing she did not expect related to the pregnancy.
Best part pregnant.jpeg disliked pregnancy.jpeg Unexpected thing.jpeg

Some questions about how not drinking alcohol has been and can she drink coffee.
Drink .jpeg Drink 3.jpeg Drink coffe.jpeg

C-section and NICU related stuff.
c-section 2.jpeg c-section.jpeg NICU.jpeg

How she thinks recovery will go, plans for breastfeeding and who will give updates while Alex is in the hospital.
Recovery birth.jpeg Breastfeeding.jpeg Update in hospital.jpeg

How's the new caregiver and does Noah have caregiver fatigue?
How's the caregiver.jpeg Noah caregiver fatigue?.jpeg

Pregnancy related stuff like cravings, Alex's boob size, baby's position and more!
Cravings.jpeg Pees all the time.jpeg Boobs.jpeg poop.jpeg baby hurts ribs.jpeg Baby sitting .jpeg

The remaining questions are about twerk juice, sharing baby on Insta, how big the baby is and other things.

It's very telling that while asked about the best part about being pregnant, she says it created a huge identity crisis for her. Being pregnant is at odds with her 'sexy wild hard drinking disabled party girl' reputation she is so proud of, so it's no wonder she has been conflicted. She's built her entire brand around this image for the last few years. Being pregnant must have been a massive headfuck for her.

28 weeks, come on, keep going little bebe. Stay in there til you're cooked as much as possible!

EDIT: autocorrect ate my swears

You can actually see her maturing in real time. I could almost start to like her. There could be a redemption arc here I just hope Noah gets with the programme too.

I'll take my rainbows I'm an optimistic faggot.

It’s great that she is now saying that she would either adopt or use a surrogate for future kids but FFS you didn’t need to actually get pregnant to figure that out. Also annoyed that she still thinks they’re totally gonna have 3-4 kids. She figured out that pregnancy sucks and she shouldn’t do it again, but she’s still delusional about what parenthood will be like for her AND she’s totally ignoring the burden she’s putting on her family by having even one kid. It’s great that her parents are there for her now, but what’s her plan when they can’t or don’t want to raise your kids for you?

She's in the bargaining phase. She's slowly circling the airport of reality. It will honestly be interesting psychologically to see how her outlook develops once baby is here.
How many of us were also going to have a million babies until we actually had a couple of the adorable little screaming tards and found ourselves calling the doctors surgery to enquire about sterilisation?
I'll put my hand up to that.

You’re right…I suppose she’s not really different then everyone else on earth who had a kid without really thinking about it first. I guess it feels stupider than normal because anyone can see what a terrible idea that is for her and everyone around her. She’s probably spent her whole life trying to prove to herself and others that she can do anything an abled person could do, and didn’t stop to think that just because she COULD do something doesn’t mean she SHOULD do something…especially pregnancy and child rearing.

She thinks people are appalled because of EuGeNIcS and aBlEiSm, but the really appalling thing is that she’s neither considering how her disability will mess with her kid’s mental well-being, nor that she’s causing a serious hardship for her parents. If she and the baby survive the pregnancy, her kid will have a lot of trauma around having such a severely disabled mother, especially if any of her planned supports fall through (obv Noah is the top contender here for failure, but parents could easily conk out and hired caregivers could also be insufficient or problematic). Even with perfect supports, the kid is gonna feel the impacts of needing to be a caregiver for mom, missing mom when her disability prevents Alex from being there, feeling constantly fearful of mom dying, and experiencing trauma when mom has medical emergencies. And my guess is that Alex probably has a shorter lifespan, so losing mom at an early age will be more trauma. Those things are unavoidable no matter how many people are there to help her parent. It’s terribly selfish to knowingly subject a kid to that stuff, just because you want to do something everyone else does.

in short, Alex should be forcibly sterilized and barred from adopting, not to prevent her from passing on her disability, but because she’s too dumb to understand why she shouldn’t be a mom. Noah, on the other hand, should be forcibly sterilized to avoid passing on his terminal douchebaggery.

SMA Type II used to have a life expectancy of about 30-40 years, but it's been getting longer with the new drugs that are available.
Same with cystic fibrosis. Median age was like 37, now it’s 53. Orkambi, trikafka etc are helping.

Based on the 2021 CF Foundation Patient Registry data, the current life expectancy for CF patients born between 2017 and 2021 is 53 years — a substantial jump from a decade ago when the life expectancy was 38

I think it's been said earlier, but I for one cannot wait to read the medical journals on this. (If they publish, hoping they do.) Since it is fact that she shouldn't have gotten pregnant while on her "twerk juice" because muh birth defects (and speculation that Noah only stuck around cuz she's knocked up) I cannot wait to see the passiveness from the doctors. Everyone in this situation knows she shouldn't have even gotten pregnant, but for this poor baby girl's sake, Alex and Noah both need support and mental help before being given a newborn.

Carer or not, the reality is Alex and Noah will not be able to provide round-the-clock newborn care.

At least she hasn't woo'ed out and is actually going to a hospital to birth this child, looking at you Globyn.

Just found this thread and read through the whole thing. I am equal parts abhorred and fascinated. This girl really is mentally a teenager who got knocked up because it will be cute to have a baby. No thoughts of the logistics involved to care for an infant, how her body would be effected to carry a pregnancy, nothing. Ugh.

Edited to add-the loser who got her pregnant is super creepy. I know some people get with disabled people and aren’t creeps but she has the body of child. Wtf.

Very relieved she's getting long acting contraception after birth
Operative word being 'contraception'. If she had two brain cells to rub together she'd ask the doctors to sterilise her when she's opened up in the theatre. All contraception has a non-zero failure rate, and given that many women with normal physiology have had some horrendous experiences with IUDs (a close friend of mine had her device punch through her uterus and snuggle up to her bladder; it was a little bit agonising, she said) I frankly think Alex is out of her mind if she thinks it's going to work for her.

Nothing is foolproof. You can still have tubals fail. If anything, Noah should get a vasectomy. She can’t undergo general anesthesia, and it would quite frankly, be dangerous for her. Vasectomies are way less invasive.

Have you all been sipping the kool-aid twerk juice? :\

I see delusion here. "Thank golly I've had no serious complications!" While in and out of the hospital, on breathing support, gestational diabetes.... And then proceeds to talk about the 8 million medical people and shit-ton of medical care required to make this happen. And that's before we even get to talking about or taking care of the baby.

Classic entitled cow.

And does Noah work?

But she thinks that more babies (including but not limited to being carried by her*) are a possibility. More than a possibility. She thinks they can reasonably raise 4 children.

*"probably definitely not a good idea" =/= no. Not even close to a no.

Paxil isn't exactly safe for pregnancy. It's a category D medicine. You should only take it if absolutely necessary and it does come with risks. Category D meds means evidence of risk to a fetus.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends avoiding paroxetine use during pregnancy.
