Lolcow KingCobraJFS / Josh Saunders - Amateur musician, YouTube Streamer, wandmaker, and self-proclaimed "sexy goth badboy". Perpetually circling the drain.

I find Cobes endearing. He's latched onto this goth-rocker-badboy-warlock-party-animal persona made up of lots of clichéd tropes but deep down he's a harmless, autistic nerd. I get a little disappointed at him... even a bit of sadness when he goes really self-destructive and makes a pig of himself. I'm past the point of frustration in that regard.

Slate me however you want but I think he actually is kind of a rockstar; the fake persona coupled with widespread infamy (albeit for unintended reasons) and substance abuse topped off with outsider art, some of which deserves to be preserved alongside Wesley Willis and The Shaggs. It might not be winning to us but in a weird way Cobes is famous and a celebrity, again, for the wrong reasons.

Rockstars also have a defined image. Take Lemmy and Ozzy as examples. Cobra's look might be entirely derivative (and retarded) but he has undeniably cultivated his own "look" which springs to mind whenever you hear his name.

I'm rooting for him but I don't keep my hopes high. It is what it is, toobz.

EDIT: also that time when he was in a group stream with Cyraxx and straight away announced he didn't want to talk to a sick pedo was gold :story:

I started watching Cobes when we were debating whether or not he was an alcoholic. He was making wands, creating Chi-balls, and still smoked his pipe while waxing philosophically about genda relayshuns. He did stupid shit, made his uniquely funny comments, and was generally a goofball teetering between mentally ill homeless man and bottom-rung citizenry.

I still love watching him and want him to improve his life, but he's no longer an interesting weirdo and more an extreme long-form documentary showing the making of a mentally-ill ragman. It's like how the History Channel went from WW2 documentaries to 24/7 Ancient Aliens

Most of the time but I never get angry when I'm not in the "fan zone" for however long.
I definitely was not a fan during the time he was uploading short videos and fart videos all day every day.
He was much more entertaining in the old apartment when he was more about his bullshit. All he does now is drink and repeat left leaning rhetoric he doesn't truly believe in, hoping it'll get him laid (like any male feminist would, honestly).
His political ideology is truly fascinating. He's managed to cram a bunch of contradictory ideas into his noggin and never once has one thought butted up against another. This is actually probably true of most people, but it's especially obvious in Jord's case.

He instinctively gravitates toward MRA/redpill/2nd Amendment/anti-woke sentiments (his rising interest in sicko talk has to bear a direct correlation with his interest in rw grifters) because they gel with his tough guy, bad boy, cowboy from hell who tells it like it is persona, but on the other hand he has to entertain various pro-feminist ideas in the belief that they'll get him laid by consenting, cis-gendered, of-age, non-related females who are alive. So what you end up with is a circle stew of conflicting viewpoints that have no business being in the same place.

I remember during one of his video responces, while watching Terrence Popp he kept pausing every 3 seconds to inject his analysis and bogservations. Since the topic was something about guns and there had been a mass shooting in recent memory his initial position was about how there needs to be more restrictions on access to guns. But a few seconds into the video (several minutes in real time) Terrence Poop had said something about home defense, and on a dime Jord's position had flipped to 2A fundamentalism. Not once did a single thought enter his head, his position had just completely morphed without him noticing. He just kept responcing every few seconds, talking like normal, not once considering that his opinion was now the opposite of what it had started as.

New to the Cobraverse but he is so refreshing compared to most other cows. He's goofy as fuck, but he's not actively evil. Low bar, I know.
I'm new to him too, and I largely agree. Don't get me wrong, the tard girl sex he talked about was pretty disturbing (and hopefully fabricated like some have speculated here), but compared to cows like Tommy tooter, Ethan Ralph, and basically every genetic defect catalogued in Stinkditch, he's not too bad. And unlike those cows, he actually has a couple of endearing qualities. His Ozzy obsession, for one. The man loves his Ozzy, and I can respect that.
I have a hard time getting irritated at his weird rants too, he's like a lot of terminally online autistic males who get caught up in MGTOW talking points. But I think, for him, he literally just repeats shit he hears, because he'll also inject a couple of legitimately feminist points too. He doesn't give me school shooter vibes like a lot of incel tards, at least.
I really wish he'd stop wasting money, his or anyone elses on booze, and fix his damn teeth. Those things hurt to look at.

Enjoy this picture of a sex doll's skinned off face.

Welcome to the Cobraverse. It only goes downhill from here, so cherish every retarded moment and please check out the plethora of documentaries on Bitesize Cobra Videos channel. The endearing qualities will soon diminish, as will your good will. Don't get involved with Discord retards.

Love you bud

Does anyone have more info about this podcast he’s doing? I can’t make out what he says it’s called— sharp? shark?

I’m wondering if it’s a legit podcast or just some ween having cobes talk into a usb karaoke mic in their apartment for shitty youtube clout.

so do the 8 people that post in this thread all the time like cobra or not?
I did like the original old apartment Cobes. He was like the mentally retarded mirror image of the goth from the next village I went to high school with, despite all his flaws one could root for him. These days, I don't know it's more sad than anything else seeing his slow transformation into a hobo, his Papa Nips and SSI funded hovel slowly becoming the only thing differentiating him from your regular homeless drunk. Still, he provides some good entertainment sometimes with his antics and Boglim shit though.

To all of Cobra expert here, does he actually believe in what he says or just repeating things from what he watched ?

"I hate sickos dude"

Cobra is just a silly billy who inspires thousands to brush and floss every day. He is a 10 year old kid with no supervision, left to hold down the fort while dad leaves to do whatever it is he does. Combines random shit in the fridge to make food. No hygiene at all. No financial sense. Just wants to eat garbage, jerk his dick and be popular.

Those teeth though, man. I can't think of anything else when I watch him. His front teeth are going to snap one day when he is eating on stream. He will definitely need to have most of them pulled and have dentures. I would honestly donate to him if I knew it would be used for dental work and not alcohol.

Personally speaking, I hate it when someone tells him that he's pronouncing words wrong. My favorite mispronunciation from him was "persage" when I'm pretty sure he meant to say persona.
Hurts me a little when he pronounces persona correctly now.

You know what I'd love him to be given some words to pronounced like Discombobulated, Scholastic, Tardigrade, Rotunda, Balsam, Defenestration, Lycanthrope, etc

That would be a really enlightening experiance for us and any linguistics studding evolution of language amongst us.

After watching Bitesize's Cobra doc I have to say my respect for Homedad Clint grew immensely. I didn't know he was such an accomplished gymnast or that he was a gymnastics coach at one point. I know he stays in great shape, which is pretty impressive at his age. And even though his art is kind of, let's say "hobbyist", he does make the time to work at it consistently and manages to put a lot of effort into it. Homedad definitely hit the how to use photoshop books in the 00's.

I will say his art has more ambitious concepts than what lot of artists are willing to attempt, even if the end results aren't that great. I especially like the series with men in suits wearing masks, it reminds me of the movie Mirrormask lol. In a way it is fascinating outsider art where you really do catch a glimpse of the man's id. It has the naïve, 'I'm 14 and this is deep' feel that amateur artists often bring to their work. And I don't mean that as a diss either. I genuinely find his art fascinating. I wonder what he would have accomplished if he wasn't bogged down with Josh.

Clint is great honestly. I genuinely feel bad for him and at this point I don't really think there's anything he can do to better the situation.

His art isn't great but Clint makes for the perfect community college digital art professor. I think this vid has been posted in this thread but I'll post it again. Clint talks about his 'journey' as an artist. He also talks about his gymnastic business. Clearly he has always had a very realistic and practical view of art and photography as a profession, and acknowledges that he's not the best. You can tell that he loves it though and you can tell that he's a great teacher.

I think it was posted way up the thread but Clint also wrote and directed a play "Hamlet" but everyone is in a motorcycle gang (can't find the video right now for some reason)

Does anyone know anything about Cobra's grandparents?
