To be fair, if you're passionate about what you do and it's not hurting anybody important (aka the ones enjoying and paying for your stuff), you shouldn't stop if you don't want to. No matter how much their stuff doesn't appeal to us (Lord knows there's a lot these days). I have a feeling given Hirsch's pull with the industry, he'll be back somehow someway. Unless something comes along to strip GF of the "greatest Disney Show ever" title that is.

I actually watched a few episodes from Season 1 of this, and thought they were actually somewhat decent. But when i saw this.... yeah, fuck that reboot.
You know why is it the majority of these communities are usually college women or teenage girls? Guys do it too, but a lot of the more vocal ones I’ve met were usually female.

It's not just that. The ENTIRE Western animation field of today is dominated by mainly women (and effeminate men and pedophiles). Most Western animation shows have been directed a lot towards women due to female protagonists and a very bright, cute (mainly this attribute), and feminine backdrop. Even so, a lot of animation YouTubers are mostly women so the audience of Western animation is primarily women. This is why a lot of males fled to anime as a result because anime still offers room in the audience for guys while Western animation does not.

Jesus I keep forgetting that shows like Regular show and Adventure Time are gonna be 15 years old in 2 years, remember seeing the first episodes when they came out in 2010, and now Steven Universe and TTG are 10 how does time fly so quickly.
I answered this in the original post, but to reiterate, animation became teen dramas. Teen Titans was ground zero, it was a show about a group of teenagers dealing with growing up with super hero shit on the side. A large aspect of the show was who was going to bone who. You had love triangles like Beast Boy, Raven, and Terra. Teen girls go crazy for this shit. Much of Titans longevity came from shipping wars and all the romantic moments between preferred ships.
Some less so than others, heh.
