Before I g on, I wan to revise some old posts.
I decided to rever to the old ways of using PaleoFeed/Brick Pieces and Soylent/Up-Grades in evolving the present counterpart instead of the pre-evolution of the present counterpart, since th exceptions (Magikarp, Cyclizar, Delibird) were too noticeable. Instead, I plan on buffing any inferior stats of Past Salamence, Future Hydreigon, and Future Tyranitar to their present counterparts.
- Past Salamence: HP 105, ATK 139, DEF 80, SAT 110, SDF 101, SPD 119 (Total 654)
- Future Hydreigon: HP 94, ATK 105, DEF 90, SAT 125, SDF 90, SPD 108 (Total 612)
- Future Tyranitar: HP 100, ATK 134, DEF 110, SAT 95, SDF 100, SPD 72 (Total 611)
Looking at the BST, I think that some rebalancing is in order.
I also decided to revise a few evolutions.
- Charcadet → Fire Stone → Armarouge
- Finizen → LV 38 → Zero Palafin → Link Cable → Hero Palafin
- Gimmighoul → high friendship at day → Gholdengo
- Ralts → LV 20 → Kirlia → LV 30 → Gardevoir → Soylent → Iron Valiant
- Ralts → LV 20 → Kirlia → Sun Stone → Gallade → Soylent → Iron Valiant
- Tsuinzu → LV 22 → Beta Girafarig
- Johtonian Girafarig → LV 32 → Farigiraf
- Yanma → LV 33 → Yanmega → Soylent → Future Yanmega
Why I changed these:
- Because of the underusage of the Fire Stone, I had Charcadet evolve wi the Fire Stone, instead.
- I figured tha the Link Cable fits more the Union Circle requirement (because of the social aspect, especially with trading) and the switching requirement (since trading involves switching party members or trainers).
- Because of that, the once-unused 'high friendship at day' requirement was passed to Gimmighoul, since Gholdengo is very bright and no longer a ghost hiding in a dark chest.
- Kirlia got its original evolution to Gardevoir, though I replaced the Dawn Stone wi the Sun Stone, since they both are light-based stones and also fi the 'knight in shining armour' trope.
- I had Tsuinzu evolve at LV 22 because of the 'two' motif.
- Instead of having Johtonian Girafarig and Yanma evolve with a move, I would have them simply reach the LV in which they would gain the move, evolve from the LV, then pretend tha the move caused th evolution. Dunsparce, though, would keep an evolution, since I find the friend-based evolution too befitting Dunsparce's fandom repeatedly hoping that he would evolve.
I also would replace the Zapdos line wi the intended Swords of Justice, though, since they actuall have four members (Cobalion, Terraikion, Virizion, and Keldeo, ignoring the redundant Resolute Forme), I decided to add the character design exercize from the designer of the Legendary Beasts:
I might add a Past Dunsparce, since I found ou that Dunsparce might had flied to the skies in the past, though, due to balance issues that would have m eithe replace Past Victreebel or add a new line with a new Future counterpart. I plan on Future Sigilyph in that case, though I am already tight in remaining Pokéspace, since DLC of the official games is almost a guarantee. I might end up getting rid of the Bellsprout and Zubat lines if things get really bad, but I feel that all of the developmen time being spent on having to fix the many bugs of the games and even por the old Pokémon would reduce the amount of time the developers have in making new Pokémon.
