It probably has something to do with YouTube's age at this point. I'd wager a large percentage of people have had YouTube accounts for 10+ years now and have subscribed to so many channels over the years that their subscribed tab is kind of useless. Yea you can go and unsub from all the old ones you don't care about anymore, but a lot of people don't for one reason or another.

It's true that not all American food is trash, but this comment is equally retarded. As a European who's actually lived in America for several years, this is just categorically untrue. Yes, some things are better - American watermelons for some reason are much more delicious; American beer is great (if you ignore the shitty generic ones); real American barbecued meat is great and there's no real equivalent in Europe. But the majority of individual products available in Europe are far superior, meat and dairy especially. You can definitely get good-quality ingredients in the US but they tend to be absurdly over-priced. I mean, maybe you live in some former Warsaw Pact backwater where you can't get anything good (no offense) but in most of Europe it's better on average.

It’s kinda hilarious to seeing all these people that used to be icons in gaming journalism like Sessler and Sterling now claim that they were never really gamers and that gamers are toxic bigoted racists. Makes me appreciate the wave of alternate media some more.

Yeah, I had a lot of channels I liked over the years. A lot. And I was much less picky with what I subscribe to when I was in school and had plenty of free time. I also used to pity-subscribe to small channels.
