I definitely did not mean to imply that everyone else at the Onion is secretly based. Probably 90% of the people working there are true believers in gender woo, and think that there is nothing more oppressed than a man in a dress.

But even on top of that, there is probably an atmosphere of hysteria and self-censorship around tranny issues that prevented the editors from insisting that the latest Rowling piece had to try to actually be funny before they published it.

If troon behavior isn't actively clamped down on in an institution, it spirals out of control, because troons are currently lacking any checks on that behavior, from within their group or from wider respectable society. So they will wreak havoc in even the most liberal, accepting environments, because there is literally no limit to what they will demand and nothing that will ever make them happy or satisfied.

Anyway. I meant to say this earlier, but honestly the lack of jokes in that fake Onion interview just make JK Rowling come off as far more based than she actually is.

For those who have been living under a rock for 20 years, Luna is the cute quirky girl who queer people in the fandom would just die for. She gets headcanoned as the most different identities because, out of all the characters, she is the one who potterhead troons wish they could be.

A not-insignificant number of them have named themselves after her. And the actor is at least part of the reason for that.

Atomic Heart is just "omg it goes against current thing", so it'll be forgotten pretty quickly. Even more so since it's by most metrics a pretty mediocre game with good art direction and ultimately forgettable.

Hogwarts Legacy is considered an existential threat by trannies because JK Rowling refuses to bend the knee, so they'll keep ree-ing about it for a long while yet. Expect another round of "TERF GAME" accusations once the inevitable quiddich DLC gets announced.

you are 110% right. This is from a discord server I am not on but someone sent it to me. It's ok, I can do whatever I want to no matter what. Apparently a fuckwit is when you are in trouble somehow.
