It's even weirder that some of the programming on UPN weren't entirely 100 percent made for a black demographic. WWE Smack Down, Star Trek DS9, Enterprise and Voyager, and even the other adult animated programming Gary & Mike, Game Over and Home Movies (the latter only lasted four episode before Adult Swim picked it up for newer episodes until 2004). Only some of them were successful. Except basically, UPN wanted stuff like Girlfriends, which was one the network's most popular show during the early-2000s due to the targeted audience.
