I also forgot to mention that you can currently (as of this post) watch the UPN Dilbert show for free on YouTube and Tubi.
It definitely was a great show that woefully aired on an already dead network, which is really strange considering UPN also had some great shows (I could literally go on about Smack Down and both Star Treks DS9 and Enterprise for a while), and even its adult animation lineup is impressive (this show, Gary & Mike, Game Over and even at that time Home Movies before it was cancelled by the network due to extremely poor results only for Adult Swim to rescue it for newer episodes for a span of three years).
I actually have most (if not all) of that show recorded from when it aired as part of Comedy Central's late-night animation block. IIRC, a sizeable amount of their creative team also worked on Seinfeld.

"Holy crap Lois, Ryuko from the hit Studio Trigger show Kill la Kill is here!"
"Sorry I'm late, I got lost on the way".
"Hey lois remember when I wasn't a fat 45 year old lousy lay with a laundry list of health problems and attraction to potentially underage girls?"

"Yes Peter I remember and I remember when I wasn't an egotistical nag who regrets having met you let alone have 3 failures of kids with you in a show that pitifully tries to satirize everyday life but fails to connect with anyone older than 12 on a mental level. "

Brian, "and remember when I was the voice of reason and well spoken and not an author avatar for a prentious, self loathing, alcoholic?"

Who's stop motion is better? His or Wes Anderson's?\

I never really liked ENA that much. Sure the animation and music are really good but the dialogue gives me a headache. I think LSD dream emulator does a better job at surrealism.

I think JoelG's other series, Hands Up, is better, even if it's more simplistic.
Yeah, I wish JoelG would do another Hands Up cartoon.

Chris: "Hahaha, that's hilarious Ryuko!"
Ryuko: "Oh hi, Chris!"
Chris: "WHAT'S UP! Let's go on a prom date!"
Meg: "Whatever, I'm not impressed really. She's dressed very inappropriately. Clothing is clothing!"
*[Ryuko throws her scissor sword towards Meg's forehead]*
Peter: "Nyehehehehehe. Classic Ryuko."
Stewie: *[turns to look at the camera]* "Personally I prefer Gurren Lagann, but Fox can't negotiate for shit."

It breaks me heart to remember there's a whole generation that didn't see the side of brain that wasn't a complete asshole. And in talking 1999 y2k Era brian in the way back Era.

Speaking of whatever happened to @Steamboat_Bill ? I honestly miss the guy and he was quite active in here.
I'm old enough to remember when Brain looked like this.

Had Seth stuck around in Hanna-Barbera, he could've made Larry & Steve as a kids show as America's own Wallace & Gromit. Actually come to think of it, would American Dad, Ted or The Orville even exist if he didn't make Family Guy? And would the three exist if Seth had took the plane during 9/11?

So Craig is based, what about it?

I honestly don’t think he was implying that. Craig seems to be going after the hyper fans. Lenny is practically the definition of the modern day consoomer. He hardly seems to actually understand what he is a fan of hence why he stopped them from being Supers. The Professor’s speech was about being a true fan, someone who understands a work and just enjoys it, not someone who makes it their life. Lenny’s modern day equivalents are those people who buy all the Star Wars or Marvel Funkos, simp for every film regardless of quality, and make a brand their identity. They don’t like the brand, they are just using it as a crutch to give life meaning.

Clipsville dealt with the other type of fans, which is the fanfic/shipping losers. The people who spend their lives writing about fictional characters needing to fuck, or creating Pooh’s Adventure tier stories.

The team seemed to be shitting on the people we shit on. I don’t see a problem with his take personally.
Craig continued those themes into other shows as well. There's a Wander Over Yonder episode about online discourse ("The Troll") and one about gatekeeping fandom (the villain is named "Neckbeard"). I like that he kind of takes on fandom elements sometimes and doesn't act like it's a pure reflection of his audience. There can be negative elements that deserve to be talked about, and I don't think the episodes feel especially cynical, just cautionary.

"You can't keep other people in the dark just to make yourself seem smarter."

So many possibilities had time been different.

During the early-70s, The Magic Roundabout was the most popular with freshmen high school to senior college students other than the original demographic of toddlers or little kids, starting that type of trend, even way before Bluey or SpongeBob.
Hell, there's even an episode of The Real Ghostbuster--"Revenge of Murray the Mantis"--that makes fun of the phenomenon of adults being into childish things. It was surreal seeing that episode again in a post-Brony era as it feels like that's what its making fun of, and yet RGB came decades earlier.

Yes, nobody thinks of the 60's version or the record albums that spawned it.
Nobody except maybe Toonrific Tariq

I remember watching these when I was a kid. My dad bought us a dvd of all of the 80's cartoon episodes and these came as an extra. Used to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks all the time, that and Scooby Doo were my shit
Wait wait wait... of ALL the 80s cartoon episodes? There is no such DVD because licensing issues with insert songs.

From this description I assume you actually had the "ALVIIIIN! Edition" DVD, which is the only one I've heard of that included 1960s episodes.

Yes my autism superpower of never being able to forget cartoons includes also remembering trivia about DVD releases.

Me fail English, that's unpossible!
It was more an eat up Martha moment, damn auto correct.

But yeah go back and look at eps like brian willows and peter swallows, brian sings and swings, or brian portrait of a dog. You'd hardly belive its the same grade A asshole who let a woman and her baby drown in a car, lied too a blind girl just to sleep with her, and worst of all slept with a repulsive white trash carny then refused to accept the idea of a trashy person breaking up with him.

Seasons 1-7 were very comfy Family Guy. I'd say I enjoyed season 8-17, but couldn't help to notice that there was something wrong. Plus, the obvious animation upgrade starting in half of season 6 is horrifyingly uncanny that it's a very common meme over the years.

Meanwhile, American Dad is surprisingly consistent with quality through and through.
