The Daily Wire announced that just after 7:30 p.m. CT — roughly 12 hours after announcing the launch of Jeremy’s Chocolate — the company had already sold over 100,000 chocolate bars.


“The people asked and we answered,” Boreing said. “Thanks to Jeremy’s Chocolate, you can stop eating chocolate that hates you. Harry’s Razors hates you; Disney hates you; and now Hershey’s hates you. As long as corporations and institutions across America continue to alienate half the country, The Daily Wire will continue building alternatives. Stop giving your money to woke chocolate companies that hate you.”


The Daily Wire also published an ad for Jeremy’s Chocolate featuring Boreing and Daily Wire hosts Brett Cooper and Michael Knowles. Several Twitter users were astonished at the speed with which The Daily Wire was able to launch Jeremy’s Chocolate.


“That was fast,” journalist and podcaster Tim Pool tweeted.

I mean, no, they were saying most chocolate including the griftobars is all the same.

Well, saying "globohomo" is basically a meaningless statement anyways. It's little more than a politically flipped version of "fascist".

You can certainly get artisan chocolates that will be open about how they source their materials and who owns the company, if you're willing to pay for it. I'll just spend my money to buy actual good chocolate. Not Band Booster Bars.

I thoroughly understand the people who are buying this stuff. But you're right, American chocolate is absolute shit.

Oh, this isn't even fair. There are absolutely good American chocolates. Hershey's just isn't one of them. And trust me, there's bad European chocolate, too. I've had it. Bad European chocolate is differently bad, but still bad - bad European chocolate tends to be like eating brown wax.
 
That's really funny and I applaud the concept. But it's very expensive. At least donate a portion of the revenue to a women's shelter. If you really want to trigger some troons donate it to the "real women only" shelter JKR supports.

I didn't even know about this hershey controversy until an ad for this annoying grifter's newest PR stunt ran on youtube while I was watching something on my phone. Goddammit, I like quite a few hershey products too, and now they have to engage in facilitating troonery?

$7 per 1.5oz chocolate bar? That's what, over five times the price of Hershey's, plus shipping? Hershey's marketing campaign is stupid, but fuck paying that much to pre-order chocolate bars.
Good brand chocolate is not cheap. Hershey is because it's a commercial brand like fast food. It's the equivalent of drugstore make up: it's meant to not being expensive while actual brands can cost twice or thrice the price. Also, look below: 40% of cacao is really low (minimal to be considered chocolate is 25%).

A pack of this chocolate is $25, so each chocolate is about $6. That's about S/ 20 for 42g. It's more expensive than the last one (an award winning chocolate), but then it's also a novelty product and a political statement.

You have people complaining that Hershey's tastes disgusting but then act flabbergasted when a chocolate bar somehow costs more than the Big Mac of chocolate. People would rather spend $1.50 on a bar of corn syrup and vegetable oil.

Or better yet spend the money for some actual good-quality European chocolate. American chocolate is vile and tastes like vomit.

Hershey isn't even that cheap here. There are cheaper chocolates, but they are also barely above 25% of the required amount of cacao they need to be called chocolate (otherwise is a "snack with chocolate flavor). I think these ones don't even mention how much the % of chocolate is, but if it's 70% or more, then the price is definitely justified.
