Bam's MO is to stop using for a bit and then go on benders. So basically it's some of the booze weight coming off, which is pretty easy to do. When he starts drinking again, he'll bloat up very quickly.

As much as I find Steve O a dullard and uninteresting, I give him credit for his miraculous turn around of his life. Everyone is in a better place than him in the crew because by and large they weren't pieces of shit to begin with.

Bam has never had anything redeeming about him in his entire existence beyond being part of the creation of Jackass. I would say he would even admit that, but he's such a narcissist that thinks the sun rises and sets on him.

He was the only one that stuff going on outside Jackass with his skating career and other bussines ventures like the music label and production company that was putting out his show. All the other guys had nothing at all so at the time it seemed like the one that had his shit together the most despite acting like a big brat.

All it would have taken is some self control and he could have retired young, chill around social media and still have people follow him and remember him fondly. Just a modicum of self discipline.

I think it’s much more likely that it’s a can of Liquid Death, that retarded water that Steve-O constantly shills and has all of his guests drink. It comes in a white can. He probably gave Bam a few cases while they were touring together. Also, I think White Claw cans are skinnier.

You know what? I think you’re dead-on now that I see this comparison. That’s definitely a White Claw. I guess giving Bam the benefit of the doubt really is an exercise in futility.

Johnny, Steve-O, the rest of the main cast were in their mid to late 20s when they got their break. Johnny Knoxville was a working actor, his big break at 21 was playing the character "Cure Fan" on The Ben Stiller Show.

When Bam turned 21 he became a star, everyone with cable and a love for stupidity was watching Jackass. And then the movie happened. And emotionally Bam's biggest high was probably getting Viva La Bam, this was the mid 2000s Reality TV was just taking shape, Bam was MTV's second celeb reality show after The Osbournes. We all know MTV turned to total shit but for real imagine how cool that is to be in the same league as one of the most legendary rock stars.

I imagine in an alternate Bam would have taken care of himself, stayed in shape and worked on being a TV Host. And in that universe Bam would be the host of Ridiculousness running 12 hours a day on MTV. BTW I just learned Rob Dyrdek is actually 5 years older than Bam.

he was pretty popular already just on a more local scene, he was always the darling.

I understand how Ryan Dunn dying wrecked him and broke his mind. Up until that momment he experienced nothing bad happening ever, everything was a success for him no matter how dumb or reckleslly he acted. He got nothing but perfect rolls until his 30s.
