You can tell that pooners aren't even psychologically male based on their ridiculous image of masculinity. Have you noticed that most of them look identical? It's the same old mixture of body hair, piercings, tattoos, wispy beards, and an undercut which—God forbid—is dyed in an unnatural color. It's not a man, it's a bull dyke—at best. This is not what being male is about, and that is not how normal men look like. This is something pooners share in common with lesbians when they try to act butch or "macho": their understanding of what it means to be a man or male-presenting is nothing short of a woman's very cartoonish conception of masculinity. At least lesbians are under no illusion that they're men. Pooners, on the other hand, are walking caricatures of what biological women think men are supposed to be like, just like MtF trannies try to emulate the women they see in their porn videos.

Alice the Goon has always been my headcanon Alice. I am truly gratified that someone else thought of her too.

Poor Alice. You have to wonder what kind of a fucked-up mind dreamed her up. Huge, ungainly, hideous, and a voice like the teachers on the Peanuts kids well ahead of its time. I probably saw her on TV when I was five and her plaintive WAAAAHs of unrequited love haunted me for, apparently, a lifetime. (WAAAAH WAAAAAH WA-WA -- "I love Popeye")

Damn it, now I want to write a redemption-arc happy-ending fanfic for Alice.

Really? MtFs absolutely behave like a sleazy porn-star caricature of women, but my impression of FtMs is that they just act like soft gaybois who use words like 'heccin' valid' unironically. I'm still waiting for pictures of Ellen Page wearing Pit Vipers and leaning over the open hood of a truck asking the owner 'you put bigger injectors in that sumbitch or what?"
