I know we’re joking about his catson, but after watching a few DSP REACKS I’m starting to think that Phil may actually be dumb enough to believe that Jasper is his “kid”.

First of all my condolences. I watched reestreams of the first few reacts but just can't do that anymore, same goes for his tier maker shit. I'll just have to rely on Kiwis made of sterner stuff than me posting clips and writing up the "highlights".

How else to explain those segments where Phil patiently tells Jasper to get down from wherever, before finally giving up, working up a sweat from getting up and picking up his cat, and then complaining to Stream how Jasper “doesn’t listen to him”.

Phil seems to be dumb enough to actually believe that his catson is able to understand English, but is only too lazy to do as he’s told.

I'm not really sure if I belive that Phil 100% buys into the whole catson/catdad thing or if it just that Jasper is a prop in his "mature adult with a business and family" LARP.
But I could honestly see him actually having started to believe his own LARP, it would not be the first instance of him pignotizing himself

I didn't believe it at first but the more I hear about it the more I realise the DSPReacts! is so perfect. This is a guy who's so soyfilled, and so nervous about offending people that he's banned any talk of politics, religion, and general drama. So what does the audience do? They send him educational videos. About math problems. About cars. About anything that isn't video gamesor pop culture. It's not DSP reacts. It's DSP Learns It.
But the guy has no interest in learning (he graduated college, doob. He's done learning!) so instead of paying attention or at least playing the video for his dents because that's what he's payed to do, he starts getting toxic towards the video maker or the people who watch the video. He insults the creator and moves on to the next money video. Or if it's something he's vaguely familiar with he goes "huh" "oh" "ah". Like a fucking lemming. It really is something I hadn't considered. He's so closed off.

No, reaction channels usually watch a single piece of content that's about 10min long, then upload that single video of them reacting. Most of them are about as non transformative and lazy as Phil though. I assume why people watch them are to validate their tastes, as most reaction videos are on things people either agree are good, or agree are bad.

So you show up for the guy to tell you he likes the thing you like, or that the thing you hate sucks and he thinks is awful.

DSP's format is the real issue here. You PAY TO PARTICIPATE IN A CONTEST, essentially. If you don't care enough to post your suggestions before the other dents, they will most likely end up being at the tail end of the stream and get watched for about a minute or so at best. You have major restrictions on what to send because of copyright and dsp just not caring about 90% of them, and now you're even discouraged to send him food videos, the only thing he actually has something to say about.

Worth noting is that by the end of the stream, Phil had effectively been financed exclusively by whales. $30 from Trekker, $20 from OMM, and ending at $65.
This was similarly reflected last night with potentially one or two people financing the entire $100 on 3 socks, and this was after a few 'slow' streams wherein these socks were absent. No number of socks is going to hide the fact that he is entirely dependent on whales.

The react streams were dying tipwise except for a couple random big tips earlier in the month. Yesterday it was back to $65, which weirdly is almost the same amount as all but a couple react streams. Maybe he puts out the whale call at random times, but who knows? These big tips from the sock accounts are scattered through all the streams. There's no pattern, like one game gets huge support and another none, at least not on the day streams.

We had a girl who sat on her phone while watching Chantal but she is now off the internet.
Most big women reactors will clearly transform the video if they stream.
One edits the react to include only a portion. The livestream ones, two most successful have a popping personality and are hillarious.
The one who makes most money 3rd in superchat at some point has no memberships.

I got to thinking and want to hear anyone else's opinion but of all the different kinds of scams there have been which one would do you think would be the most Dave-centric? Me I think its those bull shit auctions where someones like "I won this iPad for 18 dollars" um no what really happened is it started at a penny and you paid a dollar a bid in order to raise the price by a penny so if it started at a penny and ended at 18 guess what that was 1799.99 worth of bids in the auctioneers pocket.

Me either but the closest thing to authentic react he did was the last one with the first video. He was generally surprised and it was funny as fuck for anyone else watching.

react content in general is garbage, the only videos remotely worth watching are the ones where the person reacting is someone very familiar with the subject of the video they are reacting to, like a professional chef reacting to jack scalfani, they do the typical cringing and over reacting, but they also explain why what jack is doing is wrong/awful. on the other hand we have DSP, his react content is just like his prestream, he flails, rants, over reacts makes stupid faces, and finds ways to make it about himself. only difference is his podcast sources conversation topics from twit-tter while reack content is given to him by people paying for the privilege.

We knew it was going to be bad, but wow, Phil exceeded our expectations in terms of its horribleness. The fact that his dent whales keep funding him to stick it to us is all the more hilarious/sad.

Whats funny is DSP gives the same explanation for react content; Its the lowest form of content and any moron can do it and its only good if the reactor has a unique or meaningful connection to the content.

Coincidentally, DSP is uniquely qualified to react to everything while somehow no one else on earth has a meaningful connection to the same pop culture entertainment everyone consumes. When he started his react channel he weaseled his way past his own definition by claiming his 15 year beggacy gave him a unique perspective on other content creators THUS anything he reacts to online is meaningful. He really would be an amazing cult leader if he wasnt so lazy and ugly.

We all know he's a jealous little bitch when it comes to other Yters/streamers but Max is different simply because he is the anti Phil and is everything that Phil desperately wants to be.
