It does shed a different light on the speculation as to why they have 5 kids. Did they just want a large, trad family? Do they get more money from the trust for more kids? Does it provide more of a buffer for his parents to tolerate his bullshit because they have grandkids to worry about?

In various parts of Nick's content, he has always sounded like he watched alot of porn and gave the impression of being a sort of archtypical nerd "porn fan". On one occasion I remember him talking sort of in awe of what it would be like to actually interview an important porn star. He seemed to have totally unrealistic fan ideas about porn and the people who worked in it. It was similar to how he seemed so interested in Drex's bullshit stories.

I think he would certainly look up to anyone associated with the porn business and consider being in the porn business some sort of ultimate life to live. But at the same time, he is totally naive about what porn actually is as a business and lacks the right motive (money) for getting into it. If he actually got involved in the business, I think his coom brain would take over to the point where he would self-destruct. He would have a good chance of becoming another preston poulter. Poulter inherited some money, moved out to LA with his wife to make movies, then eventually got into doing cuck porn & was on the edge of trooning out before he stepped back (or had run through all his money).

IIRC, Nick's responses were whiny and dumb. Randazza won that fight, and Nick knows it. I thought it was funny when he got into slapfights with people like Doucette and Twoton, but I felt like he was trying to punch way above his weight class when he started shit with Randazza and Ken White.

I think it was @Strix454 who confirmed that Randazza took this case because Rekieta's situation aligns with Randazza's desire to get some case law on the books with respect to a state that doesn't have an anti-SLAPP (Minnesota), along with the fact that Nick is happy bankroll that effort.

That leads me to suspect that... if those conditions didn't apply... Randanzza might not have taken the case at all. Even leaving aside the fact the two had a spat in 2020, there doesn't seem to be any other benefit to Randazza in taking the case (other than money, of course). It's a pretty run-of-the-mill defamation case between two private parties.

Also, I'm not sure Randazza's specific gambit is gonna work. It seems like a bit of a reach, but I guess we'll see what the judge has to say.

In other news, Ethan Ralph has just walked out of the contempt hearing involving his DVRO with Faith Vickers. Facing a real possibility of jail time, he was able to leave the courtroom and declare victory almost immediately. I'm pretty sure it's now fair to say Ethan Ralph has won a bigger victory representing himself in a courtroom situation than Nick Rekieta ever won for his clients.

How many times is this now? The whole "Rekieta is never right" thing has long been a meme on the Farms, but I'm beginning to think there's some ancient Sumerian demon shit going on here. Statistically you'd think he should have accidentally been more right than he has been. Odds makers in Vegas are soon gonna start factoring in what Rekieta says about legal outcomes. If Nick predicts X, that becomes the longshot outcome.

It took a second but both the tone and cadence of his voice seemed off. After listening to Dick and Nick in the stream @Captain Manning posted I think Nick was trying to mimic Dicks voice and cadence at the show. He sounded like a lil dick wanna be.

I'm not saying he's hurting for business, but Randaza is also in a pretty niche field. I can't imagine he's in the habit of turning down people who can pay the bill and don't have some obvious baggage that might make the juice not worth the squeeze. Especially over something as minimal as mean words on the internet.

It's long been postulated that Masterson is Nick's idol. More so than any lawyer. Which might also (at least partially) explain the shift from law to more degenerate content.

Problem is, Dick is also Ralph's idol. Which leads to the uncomfortable observation that the three of them all act so alike now. Even if Nick and Ralph are at odds.

I just can't get over why anyone would want to emulate Dick. His star has been fading for some time now too. It's like both Nick and Ralph can now be regarded as "Kroger-brand Mastersons."
