Again, his lack of ability to comprehend how this looks to a family court judge is utterly insane.

How can he not understand that releasing the emotional writings of a 19 year old you impregnated and abused written immediately after she left you before going to court for your DVRO violations makes him look like an uncaring, unrepentant piece of shit to anyone with a brain.

The problem for Ralph as I see it is that not only has he violated the order, he has done so fragrantly, repeatedly, and has shown no remorse for anything he's done. How exactly can he be expected to respect the order going forward without punishment? I don't think he'll get the jail today, but I do think he's paying the court costs of at least Faith. Those are likely in the $10k+ range. In addition to this, I imagine the proviso from the court is that if there is anything more it's jail. What else can they do, otherwise they're revealing themselves as toothless?

Mind you, would it surprise me if he went to jail? No. Simply because he has done so much that given all the facts, and his behaviour, the sentencing is not going to go well for him.

Ralph won't see jail, they are only locking up violent offenders in California (and even then not enough or for long).
The only way he will see any real consequences for his actions is if he arrives blasted out of his mind and gets a contempt of court charge. I see this being the likely outcome, along with a pittance of a fine.
The last thing Vickers can do is use this court proceeding to strip Ralph of visitation permanently.
If he was smart he would end it at that and watch quietly as Ralph dies. However, two profoundly retarded men are slapping each other over a profoundly retarded woman, so who knows there may be a little entertainment left.
