played the wad, it's surprisingly long and unfair at times, but don't expect it to be nothing but lambasting tha jizzydoom devteam. The wad is like 20% anything zdoom drama related and the other 80% random memes and shit the authour found funny.

Don't know about pronouns, but I know that you can select your ""gender"" to 'object' and 'neutral' in GZDoom to this day
I'm not active in any of these communities, is Quake infested like Doom is, or has it escaped the zoomers by not having a modern remake? Seems to me from the short time I spend on Quake forums that it seems to be clear of the tranny menace, seems like just a bunch of older dudes having fun.

Funnily enough, in older versions of ZDoom, and probably GZDoom as well. The gender select options used to be "Male", "Female", and "Cyborg", because ZDoom player setup used to be basically a copy of Quake 2's multiplayer setup. Then they later changed it to the options you see now, so you can unfortunately no longer identify as a cyborg anymore.
Why, you can, just need to tinker configs a little bit. Would've tell which one but I'm not the code monkey and can't really tell what config file in gzdoom.pk3 is responsible for gender options.
ZDoom was "incorporating" certain features from quite a wide variety of engines, gzdoom simply continued this tradition.
From the looks of it, there's a language.0 file that can be modified to change some of the text around. In this case, I was able to change the "Object" value to "Cyborg" using SLADE and then save it. I don't see any point in all that work but I guess it again shows how easy it is to modify the engine to your liking.
