It just would have been such a more interesting season if even one of the players could stomach playing a fantasy Christian.
I don't think any of them even could. Maybe Brennan, but I still think that would be a stretch. They wouldn't let themselves get into character. Only two types of Christians are allowed to exist. Naive idiots who must be saved from their religion, and evil monsters that aren't actually believers and just use the religion to control said idiots. Both exist as a way to set up Christianity to be defeated. If someone played a Joshua Graham I think the table would implode.

Cruelty Squad can arguably be considered woke. Not because it has troon gender nonsense but because each ending of the game is an allegory for capitalism.

modern comics...sometimes. As much as I've accepted that more people will flock to anime and manga, part of me( optimistically ) tries to hold out hope that american comics will get out of their slump and be at least enjoyable again. Plus the sjw can sometimes be so bad it's almost hillarious like lardass squreil girl arguably the catalyist that STARTED american comics on their downward spiral.

Cant say I do actually, most stuff i enjoy is too old to be consumed by modern "woke-ism" and the stuff I do enjoy from this age doesn't tend to have those kinds of themes.

Batman (2022) was good i guess.
Not great mind you, just good.
And in spite of the woke stuff, not because of it.
The finale was hilarious, though unintentionally.
A 4-Chan Dankweb Troll-Terrorist Cell along with literal Water threaten the life of the progressive girlboss groid-politician that is occasionally thrust into the movies plot for no fucking reason.
flock to anime and manga
I wish that was a actual option man.
A couple of years ago, after months of YouTube-reviewers psyopping me into thinking the stuff the japaniggers produced might actually be good because of "muh sales numbers and shieeet" i relented, got over myself, and went to find a manga-aggregator, just to be met with the most horrendous writing i'd ever seen copied a billion times over, only interrupted by the occasional boring replica of the ever-same "Fun daily life of random Anime-Girl" copestory-archetype.
How the hell does a culture produce so many iterations of the same thing without moving away from the "shit flinging tard" tier of storytelling in it by even one step?

Ultrakill. Everyone who likes the game is a tranny and/or annoying faggot, with maybe a handful of exceptions, but if you isolate the game from all of that it's pretty fun.
The actual game is quite enjoyable and overall has good things in it. Its just that it immediately started caking on weird faggotry and twitterisms outside of it. Then of course that begins getting injected into everything by the fans. Same as so many other games that get a bad infestation.

2000AD, the 1977 classics not the modern garbage ones
Some of the british invasion superhero comics from saga of swamp thing to animal man, killing joke to arkham asylum a serious house on serious earth
Mel Brooks movies, yes theyre woke as hell cause they never make fun of the "marginalized" or the "oppressed" groups, ie punching down humor
Boondocks, Black supremecists wet dream but thoroughly enjoyable even if Robert and Riley are strawmen for black conservatism and black centrism
Cowboy Bebop, the original anime, yes its woke cause it explicitly jacks off to ideas of multiculturalism, globalism, normalization of sexual minorities, third worlders in positions of power etc etc

I watched Q-Force. It was moderately entertaining... although there were numerous places where I found myself gritting my teeth and powering through. What was actually more annoying was the incessant Americentrism. I don't mean that it was about American characters set in America; I mean that the whole show just radiated this smug conviction that one day, all countries around the globe will see the light and unite and become USA 2.0, and absorb the entirety of American culture and become good little (woke, queer) American copies.

That's one of the worst qualities of wokism, imho; the conviction that America is the pinnacle of the world even as they scream about how racist it is.

I generally rewatch things I like numerous times, but while I didn't mind a lot of Q-Force, I won't watch it again. The uwu autistic gender queer goth computer nerd falling in totally true valid wuve with a fucking AI was just too much. The whole show was meant to be yes, a parody, but that bit wasn't.

For me, good woke stuff turns out not to really woke on closer examination. Case in point the Ms. Marvel TV series. A very nice, fun little show with likeable characters and cast. You could easily make it sound Woke - lots of Muslim characters, non-White for most of the main roles, female empowerment, etc. But Woke is ultimately about making certain groups feel bad / guilty. It's not woke to have a female lead. It's woke when she keeps putting male characters in their place because of "Girl Power". Or lecturing them on privilege. Nobody considers Ellen Ripley to be woke, but if the film were made to day it would be about her triumph over male bigots. The old Charlie's Angels movie with Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore was totally over the top with Mary Sue levels through the roof. Yet didn't feel Woke because it wasn't about looking down on anyone or calling out privilege. I recall a line about "I underestimated you" and that's about it. The more recent version? Dripping with condescension towards men.

You can't judge it by the superficial elements. In Ms. Marvel at the start she's kind of timid and gets bullied at school with girls obstructing her locker when she needs to get into it. After she gets her powers and starts gaining confidence does she go and humiliate the two White girls for how they treated her? No, she goes up to them and says "hey, I need to get in my locker" and realises she wasn't really being picked on after all, she had just never really spoken up before. The two girls who always blocked her just step aside and carry on their conversation. Woke is about declaring that someone is a different category than you (race, sex, orientation) and often as not, inferior or to blame because of it. Woke is the fantasy of the bullied kid who now gets to write film scripts and can only think in terms of getting their own back on group X. It's not about differences not mattering and getting along.

So my pick would be Ms. Marvel. The actress in particular was really, really good and I'm going to endure the new MCU movie because of her when I'd pretty much stopped watching those movies. But although it's my pick I really don't think of it as woke. I just recognize that some others think of it as woke because of cast and characters.

And it didn't escape my notice that it was the villain who insisted the term "Latinx" be used by someone else.

Marxist Michael Moore, perhaps the most dishonest human to become famous, had a show called The Awful Truth. If anything, Mr. Moore is a might good troll. Yes, it is super retarded how every problem in the world is solved by communism in Michael's eye but it's funny when he dicks with people.

But Woke is ultimately about making certain groups feel bad / guilty. It's not woke to have a female lead. It's woke when she keeps putting male characters in their place because of "Girl Power".
Woke is anything which is Marxist or culturally Marxist. It's not particularly about making other demographics feel bad although that's a decent enough metric. A woman who's characteristically unwomanly is usually woke. More subtle woke properties usually are more subtle in their Marxist ideas.

Marxists used to be able to make good entertainment in the past. Good examples are Charlie Chaplin and Dashiell Hammett. A more recent example would be George A. Romero who wasn't overbearing with it. I don't like commies much, but there was a time they were not as fucking cringe as they are now. I think they mainly started getting pompous and obnoxious after that egomaniac John Lennon, and it's only snow balled since then to the point where they are completely intolerable now especially after they merged with neo-liberals into a retarded political establishment.

I have a few and it has been a while for some of these.

First I haven't watched this since I became familliar with Devon Stack, so it may repulse me now, but I really liked American Horror Story Asylum. I know right off the bat race mixing and I know general theme of asylums bad and whiteys and nazis bad, but was just really enjoyable overall. I used to be into ahs generally before everything got so hyperpolitical. I did always hate them shoehorning gay shit into every season though.

For anime Souleater english dub was very woke with niggers and strong females and all I will have to read the scanlations of the manga to see how bad it really is I feel like a lot of the damage happened here in the west. Flcl alternative and Flcl progressive these both felt very injected by adult swim and the west. I dont think it was too insufferable or anything you could just tell. but I still enjoyed because they still pulled off the flcl vibe only more watered down. I also liked naruto even though naruto and sasuke are massive faggots.

Lastly I was going to leave this out, but I saw similar responses. There once was a niche genre of music for the myspace kids called crunkcore this consisted of acts like brokencyde and dot dot curve. Under this umbrella you may have come across this dude called JJ Demon if you listened to his music it becomes immediately apparent that their is actually talent he is actually in a real studio he isn't screaming incoherent nonsense all over the song. He has a funny yankee accent. Honestly this dude could be a lolcow himself he once held up a store with a b b gun and went to jail over it and raps about it like its anything to brag about. There is some real deep lore here, but to keep things moving he was like a gothic hip hop guy at the time well now he has gone full blown commie. On his most recent album bro is getting so close to naming the jew its not even funny and he criticizes Israel on his twitter, but he literally got the hammer and sickle tattooed to his arm like holy fuck what a clown. Even now he releases commie albums there has been like 2 and one album riding aleister crowleys dick. I do not like the new content it is honestly pure brain poison, but I did like his old stuff. I do want to like the guy because the music has entertained me he is still just as talented today as he was then even keeping up with modern trends or even still trend setting in some ways. I hope if nothing else he just one day realizes how retarded the commie shit is, but I doubt it.

Also how could I forget my absolute favorite anime Kidou Senshi Gundam ( mobile suit gundam) and all of it things. I am as anti war as the next guy, but you can only live in weimar so long before it gets old. The theme is always anti war, but sometimes they are ambiguous to who is righteous even if they are or not the protagonist side of the story. Also sometimes they do gay shit.

Yes to it being culturally marxist, no to that being different to what I described myself and no to bucking stereotypical gender ideas as being inherently woke.

Ripley in Alien and Aliens isn't woke. But she is far from playing housewife. What's the distinction? Recall if you can the scene in Aliens where the marines are preparing for their travel to the planet, loading equipment, etc. Ripley walks up to Hicks and Apone and says "I feel like kind of a third wheel around here. Is there anything I can do?" to which Apone responds immediately "I don't know. Is there anything you can do." Ripley pauses for a second or two processing this and then says: "Well, I can drive that loader". They give her a chance to do it, she shows she can and ends with a "where you want it?" as she holds a missile. They laugh, tell her "Bay 12, please".

What just happened in that scene? Ripley wasn't bossy or presuming that she had some right to do something or be part of what was going on. And when she presented herself they did what they would do to any man who presented himself - they challenged her to prove herself. And they are happy when she does.

In short, she becomes part of the group by showing she can play their game. And is welcomed thereafter. Same as a man would be.

A modern action film with a female lead would present their perfectly normal lack of immediate acceptance and challenging her as sexist because she's a woman. And when she met the challenge she would not merely do so successfully and gain acceptance, she would do so better than them and they would be humiliated.

I have no problem with someone bucking their assigned social role. Nor, frankly, should anybody else - let people be who they want to be for the most part. It's the evangelism that makes a piece of media Woke. That it says "you should be X and you're inherently better than the evil White/Male/Straight people who hold you back and they'll get humiliation for it". Which neatly circles back around to my original point and the point you disagreed with. It's about making certain groups feel bad / look bad / be humiliated. That IS cultural marxism because marxism is about cutting down the tallest, demolishing cultural heroes and figures and the lynchpins of society so that it becomes weak and ripe for a new Marxist system of values and control. Ripley isn't Woke. Sarah Connor wasn't woke (until later movies from the current era), Kamala Khan isn't Woke. None of them have elements of humiliating - and thereby culturally tearing down - established identity groups around them. Modern Doctor Who is woke. You get things like a timelord regenerating into a woman and saying "finally. Rid of all that testosterone sloshing around making me dumb" or words very, very close to that (been a while). The latter denigrates a perceived socially dominant group (males) because taking down the (perceived) socially dominant group clears the way for your new society led by others.

Humiliation / casting as evil is essential to a Woke property imo. Even atypical casting where an existing character is sex or race bent, is at root about to toppling existing identity groups rather than integration or just getting along.
