Legend of Zelda thread - Lorefags GTFO!

Their the missing Entwives from Lotr they can't find them because Link killed them to stick them to his weapons and then break them a few minutes later trying to kill a Bokoblin...
jokes aside I wouldn't mind the tree that much if there where other mimic enemies, like chests, statues, pots (imagine trying to break a pot only for it to grow legs and attack you) and could serve as a reimagining of the Armos enemy, but as is, a fucking enemy tree seems stupid
Yeah, if it was part of a series of mimic enemies, or if it at least transformed into a more unique form when it "wakes up" to set it apart from other trees that would be cool, but its just the same tree model when it activates, not even growing a cute face like the Territorial Oak, and it really doesn't have any special attacks either.

Gerudo dungeon, its 4 maguffins this time (the others were 4 maguffins but the first was used to trigger the dungeon start, so I said 5). Enclosed space so its at least more dungeon like than the Zora and Rito ones, but its still just a find the maguffin hunt.

So far the Gerudo dungeon is the most dungeon like, probably the best so far, still not as good as an actual dungeon, but because its enclosed and inside there are actual puzzles and secret rooms, its also across multiple floors. The other dungeons are just out in the open and all 'puzzles' can be solved by making a campfire updraft.

So far the music has still been minimalist, but when it gets loud its mostly forgettable, sounds like average hollywood stuff, has the same sounds too like the single high piano note and the string builds into compressed drums. The only song I can remember is the boss fight in the Rito dungeon, which was an arrangement of the botw trailer theme.

What about this guy from Skyward Sword?

Kind of weird that he's the only black hylian in an isolated sky civilization that's the size of a cul-de-sac.
I was actually just referring to the BOTW/TOTK world. If we're going by all of the games, yeah there are black Hylians.
Telma from Twilight Princess is a definite actually looks black Hylian. There's three mutt-looking siblings in that game also (two of them have giant afros) but they also all have round ears, so I don't know if they're actually Hylians in the traditional sense. Not sure what they are.

Why is it that the naysayers are tripping over themselves to play the game early? Pretty funny.

Because the naysayers are probably the ones that were actually most hyped for this game, and now that the hype target has been missed are incredibly dissapointed.

Fuck, I know I was hyped for this, was actually considering buying the damn thing, since the last time I bought a nintendo game was BOTWiiU.

Gerudo dungeon boss was horrible performance wise, sub 25 fps the entire fight, dropping below 20, low enough to make it harder to even play.

They aren't showing the face of any of the sages you talk to after finishing a dungeon. My prediction based on the retard story so far is that the sages are all the current sages after they went back in time. Might be too retarded for this game actually.

I'm still hyped. It looks great!

It should play better on the true hardware, shouldn't it? It would be unbelievably bad if the game had performance issues alongside everything else.
I am on real hardware. Launch model switch (unpatched), Mariko units have better thermals, but run the same speed specs wise. The game is going to launch with performance issues, like BotW, unless there is a day 1 patch, but I doubt that.

The only interesting part sounds like the big underground section, but the fact you don't even find it unless you go for side quests leaves me worried.

I think I've just outgrown whatever Zelda has become at this point. This thing just feels like it was tailor made for Minecraft autists and timeline fags to sperg out about.

I'm finding it happening more and more with games these days that' they're just not meant for me anymore.

The entire underground gameplay loop hooks right back in to the banjoo kazooie stuff. You mine zonaite, use that to upgrade your energy cell (used to power zonai devices) and to craft zonai stuff to attach to contraptions. Seems like that is the 'endgame', they have leaned entirely on those physics autists.

Oh...

Ugh

Yeah, it's certainly an HD version of Minecraft.

And the saddest part is that they expect people to keep paying more, for less
