Of course it is. They got him to do something that put him in jail and that wasn’t enough. And as far as anyone can tell they never get punished or people that can actually help don’t care enoughto stop.
‘Chris can look after himself’ the medical proffesionals keep saying.
Yeah, technically true, but he shouldn’t. He should be housed somewhere with people that can honestly deal with his issues and can get the stalkers to fuck off.
Heck he could probably cover the cost by fanwork.
But no, since the person can technically look after themselves and make choices, nothing will be done. Even if it means quality of life will be shit.
I hate the medical/social work profession so much.
Chris couldn't cover the cost because he has no worth ethic. Every time he's tried doing a craft selling enterprise, the moment he realizes it's becoming a job and not something fun, he immediately stops.
Cmon, the one year in prison alone was by far the worst consequence he ever had to suffer.
He lost his toys and vidya for a long time and hat to eat jailslop.
If anything gives him pause to re offend, it is the danger of going to jail again.
I really doubt he will tell anyone again if he continues to fuck his mother, and if he doesn't tell anyone, he pretty much can't be caught.
Barb supports him and will just deny everything or refuse to cooperate. The only reason he got any consequence is because he put the deed in writing, like the retard that he is.
Oh, he'll tell, because if there's something Chris does better than anything, it's self-sabotage when he thinks he's
smarter than everybody else. He was practically chomping at the bit to tell Null about his 'older girlfriend' in detail.
Did he not get banned from some of the brony cons pre jail? These are going only true consequences that will impact him, blanket convention banning.
The only one I'm aware of that actually banned him was Everfree Northwest. But every other brony convention is still on the table AFAIK.
Doubtful. No convention is probably brave enough to withstand the shit storm that would result from it.
Not the ones run by people with a functioning brain cell, at least.
> hits people with his car
no jail time, still allowed to drive
> assaults people in a game shop
no jail time, still allowed in game shops
> burns parts of his parents house down
just keeps living there
> rapes his mother
no conviction, moves back in
This is escalating like the plot of Breaking Bad, but the genius chemist is a hedgehog goddess.
The Snyder thing was laid at Barb's feet (though it burned all of the money they got from Bob's death)
Chris was actually banned from that shop to begin with and he spent a night in jail before barb bailed him out.
The fire was an honest accident born of sheer neglect in multiple ways (worn extension cable under a bathroom door caused the ignition)
Prosecution couldn't make the charge stick from what sounds like Barb's refusal to assist.
The funny thing here is, of the three things that Chris actually was involved with (everything but the house fire), his mother in one way or another is the reason those things ultimately didn't leave a lasting impression. When the crone finally croaks, Chris really will be on his own in more ways than probably expected.
I always thought this guy was a good lawyer but I never remotely expected he'd somehow work out a deal that meant Chris just got to go straight back home and raping Barb on a daily basis.
Well, if the prosecution couldn't get any hard evidence, the job was probably easier to just get Chris kept locked up for mental evaluation and for the actual crime he did commit of violating the protection order. Devil's advocate also suggests Heilberg might have been trying to keep Chris under 24/7 supervision for his own good as long as possible. We just don't know what Heilberg's actual objective was regarding Chris as it's clear he was aware that Chris is a nutjob thanks to the known mental evaluations Heilberg ordered.
