Character ages are not why this happened, it's the summation of how bad Blizzard is at doing literally anything with this game.I played OW a bunch of years ago when it had a free weekend on steam, and while it wasn't really my thing, I thought it had a pretty invested player base that liked it. I just saw mention of this in the community happenings thread and I do not have time to read through 144 pages to find out why the audience turned on it so hard. This seems like a really overblown reaction to retconning some character's ages, can I get a tl;dr on what caused the community to turn on this game so hard?

OG Overwatch was a game I could join with just about any friend group, and we'd all have fun, laugh, scream, and occasionally get drunk while playing. I don't know what this bastardized version that calls itself Overwatch is today, but it genuinely makes me sad to see how much Blizzard tried to make it into The Next Big Thing (aka the crazy success that LoL or DOTA 2 has with tournies) and that the "best" thing we got was some retarded Canuck who spazes in his chair to random content.or you're crying because you're watching something you and your friends love die slowly and painfully.
I've been seeing bus shelter ads for OW2 a fair bit over the past month and even those are shockingly uninspired and low-effort.it's the summation of how bad Blizzard is at doing literally anything with this game.
Replace money laundering with keeping the breast milk fridge full and I'd say you're on the moneyt's like OW is some The Producers-type scam where they're going through the necessary and uninteresting motions of technically developing and promoting a game technically available for the public to purchase as a way to launder money.
Hahaha yeah, that would be horrible...Imagine if tf2 balanced everything for there retarded competitive mode that limits classes and bans half the weapons and treated the normal mode as a goofy side mode so noone would play it.
I actually don't think that's too likely. Not saying they wouldn't do that, but they would sooner create a transgender stereotype before trying to bend a character into one. Remember Healer #9 (Lifebringer or something) who was literally "Fabulous Sexless Gaysexual Man"? They'd also call the character "Honest" and reveal the Reaper bullied them for being brave and daring. And Null would add Reaper to the home page for a week. The moment Dva is turnt into a troon, expect people to mention Scarlett from SC2 as a gotcha.
