especially from a college kid with a meme political ideology.
From what I gathered from the anime he watched growing up, gundam wing chief among them, he's WELL in his thirties. He's not young. At all.
Bit of a retard but what exactly is lefty pol?

Well what do you expect from people who unironically buy a personality from the internet?
Left wing pol, basically happened during the 4chan vs Tumblr era internet.

Please tell me he's not Australian but wears it because "le hekin random" or other nonsense.
I'm afraid this intellectual powerhouse is all yours:

Lol it was pretty much what anyone would expect. David acted like a pompous ass and CRP acted like a literal child throughout the entire video. A true debate between great minds.
Didn't they have a round table discussion about the implications of this Earth shaking debate afterwards? Anyway, I found that paper I was looking for. As I told a guy in that thread, I understand if you think he's being reasonable. He phrases things so it sounds at least reasonable, if not defensible. But let's look into the nuts and bolts that don't get much light.

These are the assumptions we have to work with for the Blitzfighter to be effective. Let's start with the weapons. Gun only. It has a pK (chance to kill) of 60. Bombs and Mavericks? Only ten percent. You might vaguely remember CAS has never worked liked that and dive bombing had proven more effective and safe than gun runs since the Spanish Civil War. Well, you're wrong. Burton says they actually don't work and more dangerous. Also we don't have usable antitank sensors yet. What the fuck is that? Shut up, get on Burton's level. The equation for pK? Trust him.

I'm sure the assessment of Divisional air defense speaks for it's self and that's not even how the first radar gun sights in WWII worked. Also his assesment of how fast a Soviet armoured division can move in a day is based on an internal Red Army report from 1946 that capped out a 20 miles a day. So if we just assume the Soviets abandon their AA and what they do bring doesn't work, it totally makes sense.

Table 3 I will just leave at "Defeat Radar Lockon/Ranging (Probably Unimportant)".

Lazerpig is trying to milk an irrelevant dead meme to an audience that had previously no idea who he was when previously it was a meme amongst a niche community of mil autists.
That's been LP's whole MO for a while now. Just look at the future projects he talked about: "Patton wasn't that good" and "the AK isn't the best gun ever". Meanwhile, every milfag on the internet:

He just reheats old history memes and tries to compensate for it with bombast, editing and slurred verbiage. Even the T-14 video wasn't anything truly new. His claims were retarded, but anyone paying even an iota of attention would know the development of that tank has been severely dysfunctional for close to a decade now. He's just pretending to be some great iconoclast fighting some as-of-yet undetected plague of vatniks and wehraboos infesting the internet, when in fact he's just preaching to the choir.

Yeah he's outright lying on that unless he's using some really funny numbers he managed to twist around to get that. I agree that a CAS aircraft should have a gun or something as precise as a gun, but you'd have to be insane to use that as a primary weapon.

*tank sperging inbound* I'm sure the tank has plenty of issues as do most new models fresh off the line. The breakdown (or emergency brake depending on source) during the parade was a huge fuck up and streamed live. So questioning it's engine or drive train capabilities is warranted until more first hand results are shown, beyond that, most of it is fuckin classified, so none of us outside of the crews (or inevitable warthunder leaks) knows much of anything about it, so who fuckin cares?
Eh, I think its overengineered as shit, russians should've gone with an evolutionary version of the T-95 keeping the manned turret and autoloader but with blast doors, more engine power, better transmission, better optics and put far more resources on the ARENA system.

The T-14 is too big of a departure and while having a guy inside just to load the cannon its dumb having a completely closed unmanned turret its just as dumb IMHO.

Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, you'd have to be exceptionally insane to suggest doctrine of using said gun to go head to head with radar directed AA guns. But there it is in table 2. That's why he wants the increased RoF in the first 1/4 to 1/2 second of fire in table 1. His plan is you'll just dodge the bullets and radar, line up on the AA for a half second, put out some rounds and hope you win.

T-14 isn't really all that advanced. It's an all digital vehicle yes but it really isn't a giant leap forward as some think it is compared to say Russia's own T-90M. It's better and from what we know it has some decent advantages over western tank but its a marginal to decent advantage at best.

The biggest issue for the Russians is that the T-14 is an entirely new vehicle that requires entirely new tooling and separate production lines and suppliers. Lot more money is needed as well. T-90M still shares a lot in common with the T-72B3Ms and by extension the rest of the 72 lineage.

Unmanned turrets are likely the future in general. South Korea's K3 concept features one. There are talks that Europe's MGCS (Main Ground Combat System) will reduce the crew to two and implement an unmanned turret. US' DLP (Decisive Lethality Platform previously called OMT) has had concepts with low profile and unmanned turrets. The M1E3 which is a recently announced major iteration of the Abrams will likely have an unmanned turret or at the very least a low profile one.

What the T-14 lacks is major advancements in optics and surveillance. Stuff like augmented reality and AI assistance. This stuff is being looked at for the programs I've listed above and even Israel is now putting these features on their AFVs. Though a new T-14 iteration is apparently in development. Perhaps we'll see such advancements there.

Didn't he claim to also visit Russia (either during the 1990s or early to mid 2000s) to hang out with some Internet lover (who I think was also in the Russian Military) If that were true then if he his security clearance would have been FUCKED. Combine that with his clear financial and medical issues this man is a walking security risk. I'm pressing x to doubt on his whole "I'm in intelligence guys"

What about that "after action" video he made?

Ever since I heard that story I've doubted his claim to be an ex-glowie.

I don't know that lore, but giving him the benefit of the doubt, I'm assuming he means 'in the intel business' not 'I'm MI5'. That could be as simple as writing a paper or acting as an intern to private investigation firm or think tank, not an actual intel officer. Much lower standard. Hell, half off NAFO is guys reposting Russian telegram videos as 'OSINT'

The only thing LP really got right in his video on the T-14 is pointing out how the crew compartment's internal layout changes every time it's showed off for the cameras. That's very likely because nothing about the tank's ergonomics is set and the doctrine for it is still in active development. To say nothing about the mechanical parts.
Couldn't the "changing crew compartment layout" being explained by the fact that those were from different development vehicles and not the T-14 itself? Because one of the initiatives behind the Armata was to create a universal chassis to be used in the next generation of armored fighting vehicles.

b) why the AK47 was not an amazing gun (who the fuck still thinks that? we all know it had some issues).

I really want to see him try to one-up Gun Jesus, who is an actual expert in these things.
He's already proven himself to be a brainlet with the claim that the T-34 sucks (despite, you know, undeniably being the tank that steamrolled the Third Reich, and has proven to be so reliable and easy to maintain that the damn things are still seeing active combat to this day). I would love to see him try to make another smug and arrogant yet mistake-laden essay claiming that the AK-47 sucks that's egregious enough to earn a response video from Mishaco. Especially if Lazerpig decides to repeat that debunked talking point that the Russians copied it from the STG-44.

Behold Animarchy, a combo of anime and anarchy. Why is an anarchist a strong NATO supporter?
Because most online "anarchists" are nothing more than "Support Current Thing" niggercattle trying to be edgy. And NATO/NATO expansion is the Current Thing that all the good boi NPC's nod in approval of.

His claims on the AK are even far more retarded than AK being an StG clone. According to his twitter he is going to claim that the AK is a Thompson clone designed by Kalashnikov's apprentice.
>Open-bolt pistol caliber blowback operating system
>Closed rotating bolt intermediate caliber gas piston system
>Clearly these are the same thing. :smug:

Good God this is going to be entertaining if he goes through with it.

But still going with the bullshit claim that Kalashnikov didn't do anything himself, lmao.

I'm going to go ahead and leave this little pre-rebuttal courtesy of Mishaco on the history of the AK design and the claims that it's a copy of the STG or anything fucking else for that matter, or the claims that Mikhail Kalashnikov was a dumb drunk vatnik orc that was too stupid to make anything on his own and just claimed credit.
