I have to imagine any alternative to hysterectomy has to be interesting though? Hysterectomy has a very high rate of adverse effects like prolapse and incontinence, which is part of why it’s so hard to get approved for it. The only ablation I’m familiar with is the skin rejuvenation one, but this seems to work similarly (except the desired effect is scarification). It doesn’t sound like it would actually fix her hormonal issues though. If she wants to actually get rid of the estrogen she’ll need to do more than just destroy her uterine lining.
