Then you bully normies into learning valuable technical skills. It's not that hard, it all boils down to this:Yeah but if you’re a brainlet that can’t figure out how to torrent anything or mount an iso the AIO download is great because it’s literally just a zip file with the installer + instructions in it. That’s why the sims 2 modders on Tumblr recommend it all the time so they don’t have to deal with people going “what is torrent???? will it run on my Chromebook????”
1) install free program
2) do a simple thing in free program that you can explain visually
3) you're done
For example, installing and using qBitTorrent is simple. You install it, you double click a .torrent file or click a magnet link and click OK, you wait for a while, and you've downloaded the game.
If the downloaded file is something like .rar or .7z, Windows 11 has native support for it. If not, 7-zip is free and works perfectly.
If it's an ISO, Windows 10 and 11 have native support for mounting it. If it's something like MDF, WinCDEmu is still available and works just fine despite the last version being from 2015.
You should motivate normies to take the absolute minimum of effort to get their game. They get intimidated by files like .torrent, .rar and .mdf? Either overcome this fear or you won't get your free game.
And it's not that hard, they're gonna need admin privileges to install the goddamn game anyway, so you're definitely gonna be able to install a torrent client, archive manager and a virtual disk drive driver.
Again: bully normies into learning things. Don't try to adhere to their needs of everything being readily accessible with a single click and encourage them to learn new things. And what you'll be teaching them is very simple so you can go very easy on them, step by step, in a way where they'll understand it and will be able to get their dollhouse game.
Also, if the normie that's trying to get the free Sims game already has experience in adding custom content to the game, they have zero excuses to not learn this basic stuff. They already know how file systems work, and how file archives work, so learning how to use a BitTorrent client or how to deal with disk images will be easy for them to learn.
