Whether bloodsports, classic debate (classic as in abiding to structured rules set in place beforehand,) or just casual conversation, the attempt to pwn someone rather than backing up an argument is a losing strategy. It was clearly a losing strategy in the Rekeita v. July stream.
I have these pictures ready to go in a folder labelled Guntbattle btw.
I, too, have various folders on various computers & devices, with photographic evidence ready to go at the drop of a hat.
Nick is a Sektur veteran and has way more experience with this IBS shit than July and was able to avoid total defeat, if not embarrassment.
While true that Rekeita has more experience with bloodsports, Nick’s attempt to come at what was initially agreed to be a straightforward conversation, from an IBS angle, is what lead to his failure in the stream. It was transparent that Nick was trying to pwn Eric rather than just honestly talk with him. If Nick had answered honestly & in a straight forward manner, even if July didn’t like or agree with his takes, (as he didn’t ,) Nick would have come across 100X better. Balldo’s sektur shit sunk his credibility in this case, where it wasn’t a sektur scene, and both guys agreed from the start to have an honest, straight up, talk.
July should have broadened the conversation to Nick carrying more water than an aqueduct for Dick and his creepy friends in general.
It came across that way, that Eric was holding Nick to task for being Juju & co’s water boy. He wasn’t giving Rekeita any more slack than was necessary for Nick to hang himself. While watching live, was waiting for Nick to bitch out & hang up on July. For being a spur of the moment stream, Eric handled it fairly well by not playing in to tactics like a sektur denizen but by sticking to his opinion and not playing Nicks games.
