If you believe Nick's stories the only way to get him out of a bar is giving him the ol' Hot Cosby.

Nick loves to pull the “I’m nobody’s dad” card because he’s too autistic to understand that people aren’t asking him to parent anyone

The problem is he IS someone's dad. 5 someone's to be exact. And I am asking him to parent them instead of getting drunk and/or high every night and leaving them in the care of his pillhead wife and revolving door of hired help.

Wanting Nick to be disbarred is very gay and pointless, disbarment only affects practicing lawyers

View attachment 5381460
Well to be fair, Nick still greatly values still being able to say that he is a lawyer and will go full Motagraph in terms of spending time and money to keep his membership in the bar.

It still is a ghey thing to work towards.

Not to mention, since none of these people his clients, and he is NOT practicing, barring a felony conviction, there is pretty much nothing anyone can do to get him disbarred. At best it is laughable, at worst it is slightly annoying to him. And then he will turn their feeble attempts into content for his show.

Edit: That said. Completely dropping his legal work is beyond retarded. If/when youtube fails having a practice operating at a minimal level would make it much easier to ramp back up. Continuing to pick up and keep a single court appointed defense case going at all time would help keep his skills sharp. His entire youtube selling point is being a lawyer. This is a situation of use it or lose it.

I think there's a few who do, Potentially Criminal, Legal Vices, Steve Gosney, and Runkle come to mind as for sure still practicing, at least last I'd seen. Some have dialed back or stopped like Viva (and I think Barnes?) and Emily D. Baker. Not sure about Nate or GoodLawgic but I'm sure it's either still going or retired for them. It seems to just be the scumfuck waste of oxygen that are Lawyers In Name Only.
Law & Lumber and Michigan Law Show still practice as well.

Branca comes off to me as a guy who’s ready to just call women whores on the Internet in retirement.
He lives where few men dare to dream

I dunno why some people have no sense of humor whenever Pippa comes up in the context of Rekieta.
Probably because you guys are more annoying that Jehovas Witnesses with spreading this shit all over the place even when you know normal people aren't interested in hearing an anime rabbit put on a pretend-toddler voice to masturbate pedophiles? I know you're not going to stop, but at least stop acting surprised when people are annoyed? You have a containment thread for a reason.

I sorta remember that vices said he can't officially be an attorney since he's in korea and foreigners aren't allowed to be one in korea? I think it was on a stream with mindset. So what kind of position is he doing then? I know it's boat related but is it licensed?

Totally random tidbit: Rekieta says he owns firearms. Rekieta smokes weed live on the internet. Rekieta openly commits felony live on internet.
It doesn't matter if your state has it legal or not, weed is still federally illegal and partaking in illegal drugs while owning firearms is a felony and is one of the disqualifying questions on the 4473.,
But, of course, the feds don't care. Unless you do something else stupid then they can just slap that on top of everything else.
Rekieta should know this, being a lawyer. But he's either oblivious to it or knows the feds don't give a shit. either/or
That shit is getting struck down on a circuit by circuit basis, in my home circuit they've already specifically said that if weed is legal in a state then that charge doesn't pass muster under Bruen. I don't know what the precedent in the 8th circuit is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same. You're right that they aren't generally eager to enforce that particular statute, there are a lot of other problems with that law, and its one of the places where the ATF's "interpretation" of the law and the statue are very different.

I wondered when the 1 year anniversary would land. I'd even written a post tagging Himedall to ask, but then everything Eric July exploded.

It's hard to imagine very many will re-subscribe. I think Himedall has said that there are seldom more than 40 people chatting at any given time, so call that 150 unique people chatting over a few days? On his LOCALS exclusive streams, isn't it only 200-300 people who show up? Plus we know that Nick's rarely in chat anymore.

Not to mention all the broken promises: 5K gift, exclusive religion series, and exclusive how-to-be-a-streamer series. Am I missing anything?

Sadly, Nick has gone and muddied the waters with his 1-month-free promotion but I doubt this is enough to save his LOCALS. It seems like he could easily lose over 1000-2000 subs.

The mass drop-off (if any) would happen this month or next, I would think. The height of his banning would have had people subscribing in late August or the late comers in early October.

I am waiting to see how his renegotiation (for a contract expiring at the end of the year) will go. We have several interesting factors:

- Whatever his Rumble Rant and LOCALS subscription numbers are

- The reported content and banned user accounts in his LOCALS

- The non-adherence to the exact terms of the contract for time streamed and switch over based on what NICK has revealed about it

- The lackluster sub growth on Rumble with whatever inflation or promotion they are pushing on him.

- The desire to shift away from censored political content (When they have Crowder and Brand who are bigger)

- The anecdote about the upper executive bringing up Nazi memes

- The dead 30-something lurker chat population down from hundreds in between shows. (He can still get 330 or so during a spicy stream, but more regularly 200 or so)

- Nick's desire to stream ONLY on Rumble.

Some or none of these may weigh against him, but we will see. It is hard to tell at present becuase he is seething and Maldonado over a Black comics creator now and is not seperable.

This makes me wonder something: Couldn't Eric be hit legally if he came out and said ALL books sold were $17 (or however much they were) instead of his more accurate answer of an average of $13? I would think Nick would know that.

Don't worry, it's not his fault...

The hypothetical above is just as stupid as Nick's that he could be hit the other way for saying it was 13.

No one would have cared if Dick did not put the question out there of 'why does it cost 17 dollars to ship a comic?' It only got worse when Eric muddied the water bu
Y responding and Nick rifled of that for rage clicks.

No government entity was going to investigate July until he and Nick threw wet wood on Dick's campfire to make smoke. No one would have cared. Dick poked the bear and is having two retards fight for his gain.

Until a legal case if brought or an investigation started, all the 'muh fraud' claims are moot and gay internet drama. Eric is saying 'law on our side' and Nick is screeching the same, but both are casting a hypothetical in the best light possible for their case. It is Schroedinger's case: neither won nor lost until you go to adjudication.

Fucking Christ! Don't any of these lawtube people actually practice law?

On an unrelated note. Just realized its October. I gotta get my Halloween costume on. I love this time of year!

To add to the above:

Jew Joe had a debt collectin business and did corporate law. He has said he wanted to get away from it. I think he has.

Nate has moved from NYC to Houston, and I doubt he has taken TX bar yet. At least I have seen nothing.

LegalBytes was doing some junior level legal work that she seemed to fall back into once her Depp stock went bust.

Natalie (bodied by Branca) does criminal defense. She may be a current public defender.

Hoeg got hit by a stroke months back and is not practicing, AFAIK.

It's at least simple trespass. The rest depends on whether there is an actual sign of some sort, raising it to criminal trespass, or if July had told him to stay away. (Nick actually posted the statute.) Actually defacing the property is at least criminal mischief of some sort, and probably vandalism. And they can always throw in some other form of disorderly conduct. So it's minor stuff, it may not have been criminal trespassing, but probably criminal mischief of some sort.

If he'd been verbally or otherwise ordered to stay away it would be criminal trespass.
I managed to locate the place through some permitting naming the company. Unfortunately there is not a recent streetview and most real estate listings show construction in progress. At least the back half of the complex is fenced in. There is clearly a sign on this fence in one picture, but no way to know what it says. Considering these were multiple, multi-unit buildings in an industrial park it would stand to reason they've done what many other builders do. Probably general no trespassing signs around the perimeter and indications unauthorized parking is subject to towing. There is an owner's organization that I would imagine is responsible for hiring armed security. Much cheaper to pay your part in securing the entire place vs. organizing your own guys for one unit.

It's not apparent from what I've seen that they included notice/signage in their build out. However they've clearly had someone who knows what they're doing spend at least five figures on outfitting the warehouse. It'd be a bit of a glaring oversight if they had not spent the few hundred extra to get more than adequate "fuck off if you have no business here" signage. It'd be unsurprising if this is required by the owner's-org. Other than Eric not affirming this, is there any real indication there isn't signage? Personally I would ensure these bases are covered but not engage in public hair-splitting over this. e:
Does Eric rent the whole building or a unit with a shared lot? If he rents the whole building he probably controls the parking lot as well, if he's a single unit he probably has more restrictions with what he can do with the parking lot, but if some retard is there to bug him the police would probably escort the retard off of the parking lot when called.
The complex is 4 separate buildings of various sizes and configurations. Rippaverse seems to have a unit in a building that is a pretty standard row of small fulfillment warehouses. It might be two units they've connected.

Rekieta's "apology" (he's the one who does the air quotes, not me) where he spends most of the time saying how he doesn't retract anything, saying, "I meant every single thing I said."

Rekieta admits that he doesn't think that his "apology is all that great of an apology". Nick is apologizing for "saying the truth like an asshole".

He claims that he will restore the stream from Friday when he's talked privately to Eric July, which I guess hasn't happened yet.

He says he was brought into the controversy on Thursday, which appears to be blaming Eric July for asking to be let on Nick's show last week to respond. He insists that he is done with the drama.

I don't get why people subscribe to anything for over a year in advance. So many things can go wrong.
parasocial paypiggies, gave daddy Nick 1 year worth's of money in advance because he talked directly to them and promised that they will always be in contact in the locals chat (and it was like that at the beggining) and those same parasocial dudes and women started developing feelins, the dudes see Rekieta as a father figure they have to give money to, and the women turned into the wine mom scandal sending him nudes and erotic pictures. thanks to that we got the bottle in ass picture, and our wife's raunchy pictures

@Rodeo Roadrunner "The whole 'you have to be the owner to be able to accuse someone of trespassing and stop them' is just absurd."
Rentoids on suicide watch. They don't own their house, just <fedpost> into their house and <fedpost> them.
You effectively own a limited time estate when you're leasing a property. You can even sue a landlord for trespassing, although you have to prove they had no legitimate reason for entry, like maintaining the property, so it's seldom done. It's called a leasehold estate, and you are entitled to defend the property or sue or call the cops for trespass: "hey there's a weird mental looking midget vandalizing things."
I do not have a background in law but I regularly have to instruct staff to call the police and have bums trespassed. I know that in Chicago, at least, the police will trespass someone who is behaving erratically inside of a property, but not anywhere outside of the place of business unless the actual property owner calls it in.
That's because while you "own" the property you're renting at least for the purpose of trespassing, the rights to the "curtilage" or much of the area surrounding the actual building itself belong to the landlord (unless your lease says otherwise). I worked for one business where I never had to trespass bums, but we had the right to ticket or have cars towed ourselves. We had to be really aggressive about it because there were very few parking places reserved for us, and the street parking was usually unavailable for blocks in either direction, so if we didn't, customers couldn't or wouldn't come in.

Every once in a while we had to call the cops to actually trespass when someone came into the business to tard rage about it and refuse to leave when told to fuck off. (And yes we had giant signs with all the legally required language in front of every spot as did every other business sharing the same lot.)

Blame Rekieta for publicly getting in retarded slapfights with her. It's literally on his fucking show idiot.

Yes, Vtubers are gay. That's WHY it's so goddamned funny.

Imagine being Nick Rekieta, actuallywanting the anime rabbit on your show, and getting BTFO'd by said anime rabbit.
No one likes people who try too hard.

All vtubers try too hard.

So basically he's not sorry he did the thing, he's just sorry he got caught.
